So I had a pretty good birthday and a good week overall. I've been writing- all kinds of different stuff- and some of it is showing up here on the blog. This past week I shared To Love Is Human. In other news my last few books have all been 4 or 5 star reads. I'm on a roll. Girls With Sharp Sticks was awesome, and Killing November is awesome so far. Oh and Two Can Keep A Secret!

This week my cat jumped in the fridge! I just opened the door and... yeah. I have no clue why he even did it. I don't think he does either... I shooed him out of there and then realized I shoulda got a pic. Maybe I can cajole him back in....?

  1. Glad you had a good birthday!
I'd have loved to see a pic of your cat in the fridge... What are they like? Their hatred of any kind of closed door is actually insane.

    1. I know! I think he just did it totally on spur of the moment- he came running in the kitchen (which he does anytime I get food out- particularly cheese) and... he just jumped in?? And thanks!!

  2. I really need to read Girls with Sharp Sticks, thanks for reminding me😁

  3. I hope you plan on reviewing Killing November! I'd love to get your thoughts on it. If my dog were small he'd love nothing more than to jump into my fridge on the hot sunny days Brazil has going on all year round. Awesome images as always! :)

  8. Oh yay, the scaryass mermaids made it! That game really does look fun. I mean, it's like experiencing the plague without the actual unpleasantness! Soooo many of these books I want to read- though obviously no one is reading After the Lights Go Out anytime soon. Sad. What is They All Fall Down about? The cover has intrigued me! I really want to read the Karen McManus one, and You Owe Me a Murder looks good too. Obviously I also loved Girls With Sharp Sticks. Okay how does one's cat go INTO the fridge!? I just. My cat runs away from all life forms and okay she's obviously weird but the fridge is COLD. It's akin to a cat jumping in water! I say lure his ass back in and get the picture.

    1. The mermaids HAD to make the cut. And Sharktopus too, let's be real.

Pandemic has SHIPPED and I can't WAIT to play that bad boy.

They All Fall down is basically a remote island, people cut off and bad things happen. Yup just my jam. And After the Lights- sigh.

      And I don't know. But he's a character.
