Another cold week but we're close to the end of January, right? So the end is in sight. Soon it'll be March and still cold, er, warming up? Spring on the way? I for one am so ready, big time.

This week I finished up The Extinction Trials (good stuff) and I posted a discussion- Does Your Personality Shine Through On Your Blog? I enjoyed seeing all the responses so thanks for stopping by if you were able to! I reviewed the River At Night and up next is Star Wars: Heir of the Jedi. Probably my favorite Star Wars book I've read, although I don't read many of those. The Woman in the Window is coming up too- a book I highly recommend.

And I won a copy of the Maze Runner from the Dystopia Challenge giveaway (thanks Tracy at Cornerfolds!!!).

Wouldn't it be good if we could live without a care?

The following are voice tracks from a fantasy sim and the fun thing is the characters do their own thing? If you want them to attack something you have to put a bounty or cash reward on it! Oh and the priestess worships a death cult, so when she says "At laaaast" it mean she's dying lol.

It's possible that for months afterward I would go around randomly saying "Energies of light" - but I will confirm or deny nothing.

  15. Congratulations on your win, you lucky duck. I keep trying to win something, but the universe apparently doesn't believe I deserve a win. Weather has been up and down in NJ, but it was sort of warm and I actually cracked the window today. It was nice to have some fresh air in the place. I have The Vault of Dreamers (autographed) from a Fierce Reads tour I went to years ago. Maybe if you like it, I'll try it.

  17. We had a cool weather week and then I saw it was going to be in the mid-80's this coming week. That just seems wrong somehow. But nice. I am glad you enjoyed The Extinction Trials. I love that cover of the Agatha Christie book--and what a great title! I hope you enjoy your new books! I've seen The Maze Runner movie, but have yet to read the book. I have it both in print and on audio--I just need to get to it. I hope you have a great week, Greg!

I have never heard of this Nik Kershaw guy before, but I looked him up because he was so fabulously, gloriously 80s that I had to. He looks so... not like that now hahha. Anyway, it was catchy! Love the Underground Sea picture, too. And the ones of the mice family are TOO cute!!
