Escapism of the bookish sort.
I would like to see more bookshops on the street. As a kid we had a bookshop in the town centre and each time I went shopping with my mum, I was taken in for a book treat. The staff were great and would be ready to recommend things to you. What killed it off was Waterstones opened a shop two doors down and both shops ending up closing due to lack of trade within a year or two. I was gutted. That meant the nearest bookshop was up in Glasgow and I hate the hassle of going into the city. A small Waterstones opened at a shopping mall a few miles away but it is small and the choice isn't great for my genres. I rely so much on Amazon! Nice cover!
That is a cuddly-looking bookstore. I can almost smell those books inside lol. There was a bookshop in the town where I used to live that had a cafe inside too. I miss going in there :-(
Yeah can't go wrong with a bookish/bookstore cover!
Greg, I loved this book! I read all of this authors books.
This cover is so cute, I love all the colors. It looks like a place I'd want to wander around in for a couple hours!
What a charming cover! I love bookstores :) Thanks for sharing!Brittany @ Brittany's Book Rambles
I hate that there are so few small bookshops. There are none close to me at all..it's BN or nothing. love this cover!
Yep, that looks like home. If I win the lottery I am opening a small bookshop and moving in!
I'd visit that store
I'd visit that store, and probably never leave for a day. Or three. ... Deep down, owning a store like that? Would be the best thing EVER.
