Comic of the Week #34

Namor (2003-2004) #11

Comic of the Week has been on a long hiatus but I wanted to bring it back since I've been reading graphic novels and comics again. Every week I'm going to showcase a comic or GN cover- could be old, could be new- and share a few thoughts on why I think it's special. Do you like what I picked out? Let me know in the comments, and as always, if you have a favorite cover or piece of comic art, let me know!

This week is Namor issue 11.

  1. I've not heard of this one. But you're making me want to go back to Saga, I was on the fourth one, and I think I have a few more to read. I don't know why this reminded me of Saga.

  3. I've not read many graphic novels. The only one I own is The Walking Dead 20-21, Guardians of the Galaxy and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

  4. I haven't heard of this, but it looks beautiful! I wonder if the art matches the cover...

  5. I don't think I have ever wanted to be on a cover more than this one. It reminds me of my time in Hawaii a few years ago. My son and I jumped off a 25 foot cliff. It scared the begeezuz out of me but was fun. It hurt a bit too when I hit the water.

  6. I love this cover! I'm not a big Namor fan, though I know very little about him. I've only seen him in other comics briefly, and he is always a jerk to everyone, lol.

  7. Cool cover! For some reason, the characters remind me of the old Thundercats cartoon.
