    1. It does! It's funny I never noticed it is almost a perfect circle, I wa just seeing it as a cave opening, but you're right! It does focus attention on what's beyond, too.

  12. Oh I love this one! I watched a pretty bad movie based on this book that was fun despite the cheesiness but I suspect the book would be way better!

  15. Such a cool cover. I can't remember if I've read this book or not but I'm pretty sure I've watched a movie version at some point. I love how the design draws your eye to the center and what's in the circle.

  17. Old school covers are the best! I really like the contrast between the bold title font colour and the cool tones in the artwork here.
