Cover Characteristics #24

Cover Characteristics is a meme by Sugar and Snark- every week a characteristic is selected and we post 5 books with that week's theme.

This week's pick- Alcoholic Beverages

This week we're talking alcohol on the cover. Interesting topic- and a little tough. I needed a drink after looking for these. :)

Murder at the Brightwell (Amory Ames Mystery, #1)Let the Lover Be

This was a good book and don't they look so elegant?

Murder at the Brightwell (Amory Ames Mystery, #1)

Not my favorite but the play on words...

 Okay then.

This one's okay...

Let the Lover Be

Interesting.

This is actually a book

A nice cover.

  1. Hahaha "I needed a drink after looking for these" is cracking me up. Especially since I agree. This was harder than I thought it'd be!

I also used Down with the Shine! I love that cover. Even if I did get rejected for a review copy on Edelweiss. Bitter? Me? Not at all! :-P

I also like the Tequila Mockingbird play on words. And the True Brews one is pretty. You know, I tried kombucha once. It tasted like beer, which it technically is since its fermented, so I hated it lol. But those yellow and red drinks look yummy.

Also I'm curious what's in that drawing book. Is it just coloring? Or are there actually drawing activities? Because I think the latter would be far funnier.

    1. Yeah this was a tough one! I kept wondering where are all the fiction books with alcohol on the cover??? Down w/ the Shine is a nice cover- and I didn't even know what it was about when I picked it? Just loved the cover. I've heard Edelweiss can be a pain sometimes.

I've never had kombucha. Sounds interesting though- and I like that cover too. I agree about the yellow drink- looks like lemonade, maybe with something yummy in it ha ha!

I don't know about the coloring book. Although I'm curious enough I might go take a look. I imagine if one was drunk enough that book could mess with you lol.

  3. So fun. I like the one with the bird and the vintage cover the best, but they are all eye catching. You always do such a great job finding these covers.
