This week is a fun topic- books that I loved and made me want similar books.

Especially with the adaptation which I'm LOVING

  1. My TTT post hasn't gone live yet but Big Little Lies made my list this week too.

  2. Love your choices! A book like Jurassic Park would definitely fun though I spent enough time in the PTA circle to not need anything else like Big Little Lies!

  3. Oh yes The Long Way. I still haven't found anything quite like it.

  4. Long Way to a Small Angry Planet is a book I've shared with others.

  9. I remember when I read Jurassic Park and I was floored. I didn't know a book could be so scary and thrilling😁

  10. I can understand how Big Little Lies would make you want another book like it. Nice choices.

  11. I am trying to think of read-a-likes for the books I read, but I am terrible at that. Big Little Lies was my first LM book, and I do think a few of her other books had a similar vibe.

  12. I really wasn't a fan of Panic, but I may check out the adaptation, the trailer looked pretty cool.

  16. I totally wanted more books like Panic and Jurassic Park after I read them. And I really loved This is Not a Test, too. Great list. :D

  17. You have Backy Chambers on your list! I really need to read her work -- any work, given that all her novellas and books have gotten such good ratings. Except that they are scifi, and scifi is not my go-to genre...

  18. Panic! I've owned this book for a while and still haven't managed to read it!

  19. The Long Way To A Small Angry Planet definitely made me crave more cozy sci-fi like it!

  20. The Cats of Tanglewood Forest is on my to-read list. And I definitely want more like The Long Way To A Small Angry Planet. (Luckily, there are 3 more books in that world, so...)

  21. Crichton is a great choice for this list!

  22. I love how many people have found a certain genre or author through different books. I guess, if we're destined to find it, it will find us.

Thanks for visiting my TTT earlier.

  23. Becky Chambers is fantastic - I definitely need more books like hers.
