This week is animals from books. Fun one.
Mrs. Frisby is on my list, too. I loved that book! My TTT favorite animals in literature
ReplyDeleteOh I love your choice!
ReplyDeleteAh, Mrs. Frisby! And Jurassic Park!
ReplyDeleteGreat list.
Jurassic Park is a great pick. Thanks for stopping by earlier.
ReplyDeleteI still haven't read The Wanderers! But still want to. Why do I not know about The cats of Tanglewood Forest?
ReplyDeleteGreat selection Greg, especially Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy!
Elza Reads
OOh nice ones! Some new to me books here! Still got to read The Extinction Trials! They're calling me from Mt TBR! Lol!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
Ahh, Jurassic Park! That's a perfect one!
ReplyDeleteOooo, you picked some good ones! The only books with animals I avoid are the ones based on a dogs life, and they ultimately die and I cry.
ReplyDeleteI like those vintage Tarzan covers.
All the lovely animals!
ReplyDeleteMrs. Frisby and Jurassic Park, oh, well chosen! But the Tanglewood Cats look adorable, and Blake & Mortimer looks like all kinds of Indiana Jones fun, I'm going to look them up!

I have not read any of these. At first glance I thought the mouse on the one cover was Stuart Little. Here is my post- https://paigesofbook.blogspot.com/2021/04/top-ten-tuesday-animals-from-books.html.
ReplyDeleteI'm so picky about animals in my books. I get really irritated by bad owners and can't read abuse at all. But you went in a fun direction with the topic.
ReplyDeleteKaren @ For What It's Worth
Animals in books are usually fun -- unless they are sad. You have some good ones here!
ReplyDeleteI was never able to get into Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH, probably because I was terrified of rats. And I haven't read most of the others here, but I'm definitely going to check out that Charles de Lint book! My library has it, so I'll borrow it from there at some point.
ReplyDeleteJURASSIC PARK is a great pick! That one definitely features animals, and terrifying ones at that. MRS. FRISBY is also on my list. That story fascinated - and scared me - as a kid.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
I LOVED the NIMH books when I was a kid.
ReplyDeleteAww the Msr Frisby one
ReplyDeleteFun selection of books for this week's TTT. I love that your list includes both Mrs. Frisby and Jurassic Park. :D
ReplyDeleteI have read two of these (not bad). I especially delight in an animal narrator.
ReplyDeleteI almost put Mrs. Frisby on my list today. Definitely a fun topic!
ReplyDeleteLove it 😍
ReplyDeleteOooh! I really need to read Jurassic Park sometime! Great list!
ReplyDeleteHere’s my TTT!
Ronyell @ Rabbit Ears Book Blog
Yay, people often forget the dire wolves in ASoIaF - wish he'd done more with them, to be honest!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to take mostly children's books. Should have thought of that. LOL.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my TTT earlier. I know you liked my twist but still ...
Jurassic Park! What a great pick!
ReplyDeleteThe Extinction trials sounds really interesting! I love your choices for this week's TTT! I need to read Jurassic Park... I have only seen the movies lol! Great post. :)

Ohh the wolves from GoT. Definitely!
ReplyDeleteLove the artwork on the cover of The Secret Zoo.
ReplyDeleteI still have to read The Cats of Tanglewood Forest, now that I have a copy. Maybe I'll read it next month as my MG for Annemieke's challenge. 📚
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I forgot to include Ghost from the A Song of Ice and Fire series. He's definitely a favorite of mine.
ReplyDeletei hope the winds of winter will be finished soon..

ReplyDeleteNow those are some fantastic covers and stories about animals/creatures LOL
ReplyDeleteJurassic Park - can't go wrong there!
ReplyDeleteThe Cats of Tanglewood Forest looks so cute! I'm always on the lookout for more cat books!
