Escapism of the bookish sort.
Oo, fun to see those bright pops of purple! I think that's a very "in" color for design and fashion. :)
Nice bright colors.
Ooo Wilder Girls looks intriguing! This is my post https://bookloverssanctuary.com/2021/04/20/top-ten-tuesday-colourful-book-covers/
The Unfinished Tales looks so pretty with the background scene.
I love the cover of Unfinished Tales! And it sounds wonderful to read too!
I see you found some nice colourful covers though I have the suspicion you had the same trouble as I did. LOLMy TTT.
The cover of Unfinished Tales is so eye-catching. I don't think I've seen it before, either.
Love the blues in the Tolkien cover!
OOh nice picks! Those are definitely colorful ones! Sometimes even just one bright color against the backdrop is just colorful! Here's my Tuesday PostHave a GREAT day!Old Follower :)
The cover of The Blue makes me want to read it.
I see Unfinished Tales on this list! I have been on the fence over it since ages... I think Tolkien couldn't finish the stories, so his son did? I wasn't sure after that whether to pick it up. And what's the name of the 4th book here? Is it from a manga/ comic?~Lex
I love that cover on The Blue - it feels so serene!
I like Young's cover. The almost monochromatic feel of it draws me to the person's face and expression
I adore the cover for Unfinished Tales! My post: https://lydiaschoch.com/top-ten-tuesday-colourful-book-covers/
I want to read One of Us is Next! Also, what is this Vitro book?! It looks intriguing. My TTT: https://www.mollysbooknook.com/10-colorful-contemporaries-to-brighten-your-day/

Eight Hundred Grapes is my favorite😁
I listened to One of Us Is Lying and I meant to go on to the sequel and forgot! I need to put The Blue on my TBR list also.
Love the minimalism on Bad Girls with Perfect Faces! Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
That Vitro cover is really cool.
Great list Greg. Here is my post-https://paigesofbook.blogspot.com/2021/04/top-ten-tuesday-middle-grade-novels.html.
You have such a great collection of colourful covers here. Some I own that definitely need to read stat!
Love the covers for Vitro and The Blue!
I smile at people's optimism every time I see the Winds of Winter... I'm convinced it's just never going to happen. He seems determined to write everything BUT that book and is always behind and pushing it back.
Vitro wins for me!Lisa at https://hopewellslibraryoflife.wordpress.com/2021/04/20/top-ten-tuesday-colorful-book-covers/
You picked some with muted colors. I still want to read the grape book. I keep putting it off. My TTT is off-topic, again
I really like how the red lipstick stands out on the cover of Bad Girls with Perfect Faces.
I really want to read the wilder girls! My post: https://booksandbouquets.blogspot.com/2021/04/top-10-tuesday-colorful-book-covers.html
These covers are beautiful!
Greg, I liked Laura Dave's Eight Hundred Grapes and just started her soon to be released - The Last Thing He Told Me (it's pretty good so far.)
I just responded to your comment on my blog and said I can't even remember what the last GoT book is supposed to be called and here it is! :-D
Beautiful covers, I love how many of them have a splash of bold color to make them stand out!
It still horrifies me that I've still never read The Blue or Eight Hundred Grapes. Great choices!
Ooh! I love all of these covers! Great list! Here’s my TTT!Ronyell @ Rabbit Ears Book Blog

Great covers! I think Eight Hundred Grapes is my favorite.
Wilder Girls was a trip! Really enjoyed the body horror YA. I still need to pick up her newest one. Great covers!
These are all great but Tolkien has to be my favourite!
Wilder Girls is interesting in that you might not notice all the detail at first. I really like two tones - bright colored covers myself.A lot of these newer illustrated covers are so pretty but get lost to me because they're so similar. Karen @ For What It's Worth
Purple is such a great color on book covers. Although, I might be biased because it's my favorite color. Winds of Winter... will I be alive?! hmm. haha
I wouldn't say these are colorful covers but they are well designedHave a lovely day.
