Bookcover Spotlight #215

Neal Adams 13 Tarzan At The Earths Core Cover

Tarzan at the Earth's Core. I absolutely loved all these Hollow Earth type stories as a kid.

Neal Adams 13 Tarzan At The Earths Core Original

There is a very similar scene in One Million Years BC

Now granted, the Neal Adams book cover above had not been painted yet when the movie came out, so maybe Adams was inspired in part by the movie?

  8. I remember those Ballantine covers! I don’t have that one, though. So very pulp-y! 🙂

  9. There better be a scene in that book where Tarzan gets picked up by a pterodactyl otherwise that would be extremely disappointing!
