Sunday Post 425

SciFi Month is starting in November and I almost forgot it was coming up with all my last minute Halloween posts. It is definitely autumn- ish around here now, lots of rain and blustery weather this week.

So this week was fun. I posted Part Two of Trust Issues (some of you may remember that from a few years ago) I also want to continue Emma's story which was going to be just two parts (Welcome to Haven and Safeguarding) but several people asked for more after that little reveal at the end of Safeguarding... so there will be more! Sorry to mix two stories at once... in other news, I posted a Halloween story (here). And shared my Top Ten scary comic covers

Song of the week

PULP COVER OF THE WEEK:

I really like the animation- these videos tell a story.

  5. Why so many amazing reading events in November? I didn't know about scifi month. It's also Nonfiction month, novella, month, and German Lit month. I can't keep up with all!

Thanks for the direct links to your stories. 🙌

Yes, fall has finally arrived here, too. I think we will have to turn the furnace on tonight. 🌬🍂

  7. I've never seen Vertigo, but I really enjoyed Psycho. I think Hitchcock is so valuable to the horror genre.

  16. I am reading one sci-fi novella because some friends of mine are putting on a New World November challenge this month. If you like booktube they are The Bookish Bryants a husband and wife duo and are pretty fun to watch. :)

Not sure who would want to look like Kamala, yikes!

  17. Happy Halloween! I love the Coruscant Skyline ambience! Also, those tweets are lowkey and highkey horrifying. It would be funny if it wasn't scary, but I guess that's perfect for Halloween! I hope you have a lovely week ahead :)

  28. Happy Halloween!!! Hope you are enjoying your weekend.

I had no idea November was Sci Fi month, but I am all for it.

Not sure who thinks things were peaceful with Trump or even Obama. When it comes to handling things with other countries like N. Korea or China, I think he handled that right but this country fell apart and became so hateful towards each other. Not sure he is at fault or just how media and politics evolved.

    Have a good week.

  29. I love the cover for Vertigo and that's one of my favorite movies. I think it's one of the few movies where Jimmy Stewart isn't his usual nice guy character. Happy Halloween and Happy SciFi month! Have a great week!

  31. I'm excited for Sci-fi Month, but yeah it sort of felt like it came out of nowhere, since October zipped by so fast. I'm not prepared at all, but I'm happy to be participating. And lol at the tweet about things being more peaceful under Trump...though in some weird way, I get that person's point. Media went from "everything is the president's fault" to "nothing is the president's fault" and uh, yeah, good luck with trying to sell the people that when there are still many real and in many cases even worse problems in this country.

  32. You've been busy posting. Halloween has been and gone here, I say some cute photos on Facebook of younger family members dressing up and going out. One of them got a sprig of broccoli, heh heh.
