First of all- I love this cover.
Killraven and company are lost and tired so they decide to take shelter in an odd building. Apparently this was some kind of virtual reality place where you could experience music almost like... a drug trip. the 70's were so weird. Seriously- what were they smoking?
One thing that really gets me is how farther along people in the 70's thought we would be. We get inklings here of what the future might look like- kinda like Blade Runner- and 2019 isn't anything like that! Further, we get some exploration of when it is okay to take refuge from the real world in a fantasy environment.
In the end we almost lose a companion as one has to wonder- is an illusionary danger real if you believe it?
hello, thank you for stopping by. i don't know this comic. have a nice day!ReplyDelete

No rest for the wicked, or Killraven, it seems. What people thought the future would be like now always cracks me up. the first bladerunner wassupposed to be in 2019!ReplyDelete
Even if the stories are a little wild, the covers are always cool!ReplyDelete
Seams really good!ReplyDelete

The cover is fun.ReplyDelete
When it comes to Marvel, any illusionary danger can be real. Or not. It's always fun to find out which way it will swing :)ReplyDelete

Kraken, one of my favorite gigantic monsters of all time.ReplyDelete
It is a wonderful cover :-DReplyDelete
I love the cover art. 🙌ReplyDelete
That cover is amazing! I think we focused more on internet-y stuff and less on flying car kind of stuff then the 1970s expected!ReplyDelete
Another wild ride courtesy of the 70's, lol. Love that cover though.ReplyDelete
Of course illusionary stuff is real if we believe in it. Lots of politicians rely on that.ReplyDelete
