This week is Resolutions/ Hopes for 2021 but I'm going rogue since it's Vintage SciFi Month! In lieu of this weeks topic I present to you- some of my favorite vintage SF covers!
Wow. Do you own all of these? So fun. My TTT
ReplyDeleteOne of the things I love about this blog is that your not afraid to do your own thing, and it works. Some wonderful covers here, I especially like the one for When the Green star Calls, I wonder if its a good read.
ReplyDeleteHere's my TTT
These are quite something! I've never read Vintage Scifi, except maybe A Voyage to Arcturus, if that counts. It was one of the weirdest books I've ever read. These would probably compete.
ReplyDeleteGreat books and review. It's very imaginative
ReplyDeleteGreat list! There's something so fun about vintage covers.
ReplyDeleteNice topic change! Great picks too!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
Love these old covers - especially that first one, want to see what happens when he jumps, haha
ReplyDeleteI once had a fantastic collection of old science fiction books. It got to be too much, though, so I hauled them all away!
ReplyDeleteVintage SciFi Month is the best! I look forward to it all year long.
ReplyDeleteMy post.
These are always so fun to see - thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThese book covers make me nostalgic. They bring back memories of the books I read as a child:-)
ReplyDeleteOkay Greg, whatever blows your hair back (do people actually still say that, or are we just giving away our ages here?)
ReplyDeleteHow many comics do you have and are they insured? Think you need to do a discussion post on that!
Top Ten Tuesday Presents ABBA 2021
We can always count on you to go rogue, Greg🤣 Love these!
ReplyDeleteYou know what I think is most fun about these old covers? What people thought the future would look like.
ReplyDeleteThe covers you share on your posts are always so cool, Greg!
ReplyDeleteOooh! Interesting topic this week! Love all of these covers!

Andre Norton . . . I haven't seen that name in a long time. :-)
ReplyDeleteYeah oldies, they are so just so
ReplyDeleteI love these old covers. And that first one, where he's jumping out of the building onto the little spaceship/speeder. So cool!
ReplyDeleteNice selection! Hope you have a good week.
ReplyDeleteI loved what you did with your post! 😊 These covers are really great!
ReplyDeleteI went rogue, too! No resolutions to fail to keep this year! I wonder what Vintage SciFi Month is all about...I just signed up for the (virtual) Arisia science fiction and fantasy conference (Boston area) for the first time because a writer friend is on a couple of panels this weekend.
ReplyDeleteAh, love these vintage covers! (Incidentally, whenever I see Ganymede, in my head I *only* hear it in a Bobbie Draper accent. Which... is weird.)I think When the Green Star Calls is my favorite (also the title itself is cool!) but they are all great!
ReplyDeleteThese are so cool. I love anything vintage!
ReplyDeleteThis is Caroline at Bookends...idk why I can't figure out how to add my name to my comments!!
DeleteI really like the cover for The Snows of Ganymede. :)
ReplyDeleteI kind of love the cover of When the Green Star Calls.
ReplyDeleteThere's just so much to love/appreciate on the cover of When the Green Star Calls. :)
ReplyDeleteLove them! Giving me some pulp fiction vibes. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteKaren @ For What It's Worth
These covers are amazing! I remember admiring my grandpa's vintage collection of scifi books growing up, and many looked so similar to these ones. Thank you for sharing these covers :D
ReplyDeleteSo many awesome covers here!
ReplyDeleteI love vintage covers, they're so ridiculous and that is perfect.
ReplyDeleteFantastic post - I love it.
ReplyDeleteLynn :D
These covers are way more interesting than these YA books that have a vacant looking female gazing mournfully out at the reader!
ReplyDeleteYou really have such a gift at finding so many unique covers!!
ReplyDeleteThese vintage scifi covers remind me of the treasures I found in my grand mother's attic! My uncles loved these books.
ReplyDeleteCool covers! Makes me hear Lost In Space dialogue! lol
