Tuesday Tagline #159

What lurks beneath the waves?

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week a new Top Ten list will be posted. Everyone is welcome to join. Link back so everyone can check out other bloggers' lists. It's a fun way to get to know fellow bloggers.

This week is Top Ten Books On MY Fall TBR. I always like these kinds of topics because A) they're easy, and B) they're easy. No, seriously also because who doesn't like to list their TBR? So here's mine.

To Be Taught, If Fortunate

Numero uno.

After the Flood

Yes please.

The Perfect Wife

Sounds vaguely creepy?

Before I Disappear

Love this premise!

The Andromeda Evolution (Andromeda #2)

More Andromeda!

The Escape Room

Why not?

The Devouring Gray (The Devouring Gray, #1)

I need.

Five Dark Fates (Three Dark Crowns, #4)

DUH

Blind Date: Never Go Home With a Stranger

I saw this on someone's blog and it's a novella, so... sure.

Songs from the Deep

This book could suck and I'd still get it for that cover.

  1. SO many people talk about Kendare on booktube. They seem a little too dark for me, but also that makes them perfect autumn/winter reads. :) Hope you enjoy all of these, Greg.

  6. I remember reading the synopsis for Before I Disappear not too long ago and thinking it sounded super interesting. That cover for The Devouring Gray is creepy!

  7. I really need to pick up the Three Dark Crowns series again. I have only read the first two books, but I am actually really interested in continuing! I hope the series only gets even better from here.

  8. Great list!! I can't wait to read Five Dark Fates. I'm sad the series is going to be over though.

  9. Songs from the Deep looks really good. I have a book with a similar title on my list, so for a second there I thought we'd picked the same one. :)

  10. Haha, yes, I love the "easy" topics, too! Although sometimes it's hard to limit the TBR lists to just 10 books. I've been seeing After the Flood around a lot lately and it's getting good buzz!

  11. Omg Greg, this list is amazing! So many that I have on my own TBR (in general) but also many I'll be adding to my list! Lol All of these covers are awesome (Blind Date is creepy AF tho haha). Songs of the Deep looks so good! Great TTT :)

  13. I've been seeing the Becky Chambers book all over Booktube this week. It sure is popular. I must read her series so I can join the fandom. I am also contemplating about asking for the Three Dark Crown books for Christmas. I usually ask for some series and this might be the one!

  14. Oh, boy! I can't believe there's another Andromeda book! Is it the second book? Good luck with your TBR and happy reading!

  18. that tagline is perfect for a kraken book! Thought that's a ragon book. I know. I know. It looks like a krakendragon though :)

  27. The cover for The Devouring Gray is awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I don't like listing my TBR!!! It reminds me how many books I need to read 😂😂 But I do love that Songs from the Deep Cover <3

    ReplyDelete
  29. Some of these covers are amazing! And I didn't know there was a new Becky Chambers coming out. (But I still need to read the trilogy, so...)

    ReplyDelete
  30. FIVE DARK FATES!! I so want to read it, but I've promised myself I'll catch up on my review books first. Soon. Very soon.

  33. I have Five Dark Fates sitting on my dresser and I hope I get to it by the end of the month! Before I Disappear and To Be Taught, If Fortunate also look really good (I still need to read the Wayfarers series). Happy reading!

    ReplyDelete
  34. 2 creepy looking books there too, ohhh

    ReplyDelete
  35. The Becky Chambers titles wins at all things. I need to know more about it!

    ReplyDelete
  36. After the Flood is popping up on everyone's feed (or nearly) this past week Greg! So much tht I will now go read the blurb (there is so much a girl can take LOL)

    ReplyDelete
  37. I'm on the fence about The Devouring Gray, but I want to read Before I Disappear!

The only thing I've read by Blake is the Anna duology, a few years ago. After that, she took the straight-up fantasy route, and I'm not a fan of the genre (though I like UF).

I hope they're all winners with you!

    ReplyDelete
  38. I thought Becky Chambers is part of the title in that first cover, not much a fan of novellas but this ones sounds interesting.

Let's just said your taste in books is not the same as mine since I have no interest in the other books but I hope you'll enjoy all of them.

    Have a lovely day

  39. I lost track of time and didn't make up a list of my top ten fall TBR books. It's probably for the best since I never stick to the lists anyway. Haha. I actually have read a book on your list! I'm usually drooling over your titles--and all the rest of them, I am. :-) I liked After the Flood and hope you will too. I hope you enjoy all of these!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Totally forgot to do my post this week, oops!!!! Interesting list, as usual!!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Love the cover of After The Flood and have been umming & ahhing over The Devouring Gray so interested to see your thoughts on that one. Happy reading this autumn (fall)!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Okay if you plan on reading the first two or Before I Disappear let me know because I NEED to read them and maybe knowing I can talk about them with someone will actually motivate me. I hope you like Five Dark Fates- I have seen some mixed responses? I really liked it, but I guess some people didn't so much. Like, at least a solid 4 stars? The Devouring Gray was good, if a bit slow at times.

  43. I love the covers for The Devouring Grey and Songs from the Deep. Want.
