I could eat these all day...

I don't actually eat these very often. they were mainly a treat as a kid when I went to a movie.

Mmm... sourness.

Pumpkin spice latte! Nuff said.

Comfort food. Soups with crust bread, a hearty stew, spicy chili...mmm. I could go on and on.

Pumpkins! I love when you see the pumpkins (and all the seasonal produce) start appearing...

Donuts! This time of year the farm markets and orchards are selling their seasonal donuts, and of course cider to go with. This one is a Krispy Kreme cause they're my all time favorite, but the orchard ones are usually pretty good as well!

Candles... I always like going into Yankee Candle, and scented candles are nice. But I can go the whole year with only an occasional visit, but when fall rolls around all  of a sudden I feel like loading up on candles. Must be a seasonal thing. Or maybe I just like the fall scents - pumpkin, maple pancakes (seriously?), and harvest. And it's fun to see what new ones they come up . What is your favorite scent? If I had to pick, I would probably go with Christmas Cookie.

  1. Krackle! Yummy, but often hard to find, at least where I live. I like donuts, especially chocolate covered ones, but rarely buy them. I use candles a lot at this time of year but with my allergies and sensitivities, there's a limited selection of scents I can use. Currently I'm using a creamy vanilla swirl.

    Interesting post.:)

  4. Ooh! I love Krackle too! For some reason, I think Krackle is so much better than Crunch bars. I think maybe it has to do with the chocolate/rice ratio. I love the fall and Christmas scented candles too! My favorites are Autumn Leaves and Balsam Fur (I think that's what it's called). They smell just like burning leaves and a live Christmas tree. Great topic! Here's my TTT. Happy Halloween!

    1. Krackles are the best! But it's funny I don't eat them all year- and they can be hard to find. But at this time of year those little bags start - and all of a sudden I want them! :)

  5. I bought Junior Mints for myself yesterday when I was buying Halloween candy. I love Reese's peanut butter cups too.

It's been warm and sunny all month here, so it hasn't been good stew and soup weather yet. It's just in the past two days gotten cooler and today it's raining (for the first time all month) so I might have to make some for dinner tonight.

    1. Ooh those sound good. I haven't had Junior Mints in ages- but used to love them! You're right, the weather has to be right for the stews and stuff- we have cooled down here after a pretty nice Indian summer there for a while, so all of a sudden I'm thinking about chili and stew! :)

  6. We definitely have different tastes in candy, but that just means we could trade and I could have all the Tootsie Rolls! I agree with you about the candle thing though. I never have the urge to buy candles in summer and spring. Right now I have a cinnamon broom instead, but it smells just as amazing! Here's my TTT :-)

  8. Krackle! I forget about those but they're so good. My very favorite is the Reese's Pumpkins - or trees or eggs or whatever shape they are in for which ever holiday. I'm a candle fan as well and love any of those baked good scents. I don't like the taste of pumpkin but I love the smell!

    1. I know it, I could eat Krackle's all day. I'll eat all those and out the rest out but I have to keep those. :) And those peanut butter eggs- something about peanut butter. And chocolate. I do tend to gravitate towards the food smells in candles- I guess that says something about me . LOL

  13. What a fun post! Favorite candies: Cadbury Toasted Coconut and Cashews (sadly available only in Canada); Cadbury Fruit and Nut (the English version, not the American); and I have a fondness for good dark chocolate of several varieties. Favorite fall things: yes on the candles and the stews and soups. And pumpkins, donuts, and apple cider. And my mother's pumpkin chiffon pie (which is actually made with butternut squash.)

  14. Mmm . . . I love the pumpkin spice latte. My husband's favorite candy is Reese's peanut butter cups and he loves the holiday versions, like the pumpkin or the Christmas tree. He says they have more peanut butter. Ha

  15. My husband loves Krackel. As long as he leaves me one, I let him have all the Krackel's as long as he gives me all the dark chocolate. :-) And I love Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Yum!

  16. Krackel looks like what we call a Crunch bar in the uk, they are delicious as are M and M's and you guys in the States get pretzel m and m's which if I am lucky I can buy in an import shop for about £5 for a tiny packet!!

On my first visit to the US back in 2003 I bought a peanut butter cup, it was horrible, never tried them again!!!

Yes to doughnuts and pumpkin spice latte, YES!!!!, however my Starbucks is 30 miles away, I went for my fix on Saturday and they did not have any, but they are now getting Gingerbread lattes, that will suffice!!!

    I am strangely hungry now.....

    1. Yeah making this list kinda made me hungry too! Krackels are the best, they are like Crunchs only better :) and peanut butter cups, I loved 'em as a kid but not so much now. Those peanut butter eggs though... those are something else again. :)

They need to have pumpkin spice latte year around, it always irritates me when they phase them out...
