  3. liking the look of The Clockwork Scarab. The title suggests something Egyptian, the cover something something Victorian. Not entirely exclusive I'm hoping it is a story of an Egyptian treasure based in the Victorian period.

    1. I think its both, a little Victorian and a little Egyptian. I saw a review somewhere and it made me want to get it. :)

    1. Thanks Maja. I'm liking it so far, the MC is kinda cool an airship owner who will take questionable cargoes! Definetly interesting...

  13. I'll be interested to see your thoughts on A Clockwork Scarab! I liked the story, but found the characters a little stereotypical. Loved the Letters from Skye interview. I know what she means about the feeling of the place; it really gets under your skin. I still have vivid memories of my visit there.

    1. Thanks Lark. Sounds like a neat place, so elemental and stark. I can see where a place like that would fire the imagination.

Yeah I'll see about Clockwork, I read your review and almost passed because of it, but thought well I'll give it a try. Not sure how I'll like it, should be interesting.
