Sunday Post #530

I was sick this week. And I went to a comics con last weekend, which is probably where I got sick. I had a good time though. I have pics below and even a little 3 minute video of me streaming the con. LEGO's, Star Wars people.

I've been miserable though. I haven't been sick in a while but this one...

In other news I put an Abbott and Costello movie livewatch up on Thursday- it's a bit late (it was supposed to go live in October)

This week's discussion post is Movie Tie- In Covers

Here is this week's lyric.
Talking about stealing the show no one would know

Here is the lyric f/ last week and the answer

No matter what the truth is hold on to what is yours

  1. I know how much you love nerdy things, but getting sick as a dog after having a good time sounds like a bad bargain. I hope you're out of the woods soon! Sending germ-killing vibes 😉.

    1. It looked like a huge convention. Oh my..no telling what you caught. Hope chicken noodle soup is helping. I went to Target a little while ago..man or man were people out. The Christmas rush has already began! But those isle are hard to maneuver in with a shopping basket. And wow..its expensive. Meanwhile, Rachel and Huck might find what they'll butt heads on and it might not be her brother. Still, I find myself finding a new character at every turn..after all it's a big world out there and it just get a little more crowded. Hope you can rest.

    3. Are you feeling any better? We were closed for 2 days at the library..so it was a mad house today when we opened for 5 hours. At least I had Jade Palace tonight and that was the best. We haven't been out for Chinese food in ages. It was good and we had a meal at least under 30 bucks..which is amazing these days. I brought 2 (16 piece chicken tenders) and a dozen biscuits from KFC for a birthday on Saturday and that cost me 50 bucks! Stay strong. Hope the chicken noodle soup is doing the trick and maybe some cold meds too! Of course, the cough lingers forever.

  8. Hope you're feeling better soon. I have been fighting something for about six weeks at this point. Thought it was gone for a bit but woke up a few days ago and the sore throat and cough is back. It is terrible and I can't shake it.

  19. Ugh, sorry you're sick! That is no fun! Our Comic Con is starting to post about the guests they'll have in March. No one I'll spend my money on yet though. It's early! The Preparing for a Quest video is fun! Thanks for sharing. Hope you get to feeling better this week!

It looks like there were a lot of great cosplays at the convention Thanks for sharing your photos! 😃

    I love Yes. ♥🎶

I've been going through old paperwork and photos and have been listening to Blue Turtle music while I'm sorting. I'm so glad you turned me onto that YT channel. 🤗

I'm still struggling with blogging, but things look like they are getting better, so I definitely will be getting caught up with your stories, slowly but surely. 🙂

Have a wonderful new week! ☀

  25. Glad you got out to see the Comic Con but so sorry to hear you got sick. We tend to stay home or mask up if we are out. I fear if we do get sick it will be bad because we've been avoiding all those germs for a few years now. I hope you are so much better this week!

  32. I am so glad that the comic con was fun (the pictures are very fun too, love the robots!) but sorry that you got so sick. I swear, it is impossible to be in public places without getting sick anymore! After the last Conageddon, everyone I knew who went had COVID (I did not, and I spent a night in the Newark airport so maybe I found the antidote somewhere in the bacteria of New Jersey?), I feel like it may just be the crappy new norm, ugh. Plan for 2 weeks off from a one week vacation, because you're getting the plague, I guess. Sigh.
