  3. I love these! That first one is probably my favorite, there's something so fun, adventurous, and classic about it.

  4. I love that first one! The colours and the style, and there's so much detail! It'd be a great wall poster.

  5. What an excellent collection of covers! I know publishers put out new editions all the time, but you rarely see them gathered together like this. Very cool.

  13. The first one always reminds me of Land of the Lost which I couldn't get enough of. In recent years I had high hopes for some series that I think started on FOX Terra Nova where the family moved back to earth (Honestly, the best episode was the first episode) into a colony and of course, the dinos were back. But it just didn't pan out. The revenge plot with Ashley Zukerman didn't do much for the series.

  14. Cover love is a fun idea! If I remember correctly, there used to be a meme called Cover Characteristics and I know Friday Face-Off has the same idea.

I like the second last cover the most.

Hope your week has been good so far Greg!

  16. Really cool! I feel like vintage covers have SO much going on and now modern covers are more simplistic. I kind of miss the vintage covers!!

  17. I love vintage covers and comparing any covers so this was a lot of fun for me! Don’t make me choose a favourite though- they’re all so cool!

  20. Thanks for commenting on my blog this week. Sorry it has taken me a little bit to get back to you. I've been exhausted from moving and unpacking. I'm sure you understand.

I love these covers. They're so much fun. I have to say, though, that the first cover makes me laugh a little bit. I grew up watching the first (only the first) Land Before Time and seeing "Sharp Tooth" swimming in the water goes against what LBT taught me, lol. "He can't swim with those scrawny arms."

  23. I like the underwater/above water on the first one! But I think those people on the second cover are doomed lol.
