Sunday Post #450

So the highlight of this week was the Dorothy show. Phenomenal. And if you get a chance to see her especially in a small venue- go for it. Amazing show.

  2. Oh, it sounds like it was an exciting week, indeed. So glad you made it to the show. Awesome! Hope the weather is fair and you get out and read in the sun....hmm..I like reading in bed best.

Thanks for your comments. I did survive The Northman. Hopefully, I'll post a review soon. I did a little writing these past few days too. I work the weekend so I hope I won't have nightmares tonight. I finally came across and old mix and was happy to find Wolverine by Sufjan Stevens. It is one of those songs that might have several different meaning or maybe just layers. And it reminds me of Scarborough Fair

It was funny when I was writing that one bit Take it to the Limit was the only song I could think of..and maybe its the fact Izzy knows she has limits with Brandon, too.

    Wishing you a sweet weekend.

    1. Oh, thank you so much! Thanks for your comments too. The Northman is definitely a man's movie. If you enjoy history and the art of war it's a movie for you. Brutal, but honest and also haunting. Actually, its based on Hamlet (Amlet) and was filmed in Iceland. Bjork is in it! And a few Swedish actors along with Nicole Kidman who looks pretty scary at times, but it's that girl from the Queen's Gambit that saves the movie.

  23. It's great that the show was fabulous! It's been ages since I last attended a music concert, need to fix that asap. And the dragon in that final pic looks like it has been crossed with some ant-eater (I am assuming it IS dragon, stripes and all). ~Lex

  29. I'm so glad you finally got to attend the Dorothy concert and that you had fun. I'll admit that I haven't every heard of her. I'm very music illiterate, though. I only know the music I listen to. My husband, however, I swear knows every single band in existence.
