Sunday Post #449

Another week of not much reading. I have tons of books coming though- there are so many I want to read.

I had the date of Dorothy's concert wrong- they're actually playing THIS week. How do I lose a week? 😎 And walking tours resume.

PULP COVER OF THE WEEK:

  1. Here's to the Dorothy💕❤️💕 maybe it's bet to watch just by video than having to be with all that mass of people. Drinking a grapefruit margarita (they were out of limes at the grocery store) at the moment..=) Warm and windy here. Hope you get some of that reading done. But you know, I have a lot of reading waiting for me too.

Thanks so much for your comments. Hoping you have a good weekend. May the music inspire you and you'll start a fantasy. Which I shall confess, the Wuxia I have found online doesn't quite do it for me. So hopefully, I'll back to my own..soon. At the moment, I have them stuck in a cave trying to decipher ways to find their inner energy. I am put off a bit with Song and his Condor Heros at the moment. I know now I liked his Demi-Gods and Semi-devils better.

  5. I also have a lot to read, but in autumn and winter reading is better - now the sun, spring and so many opportunities to spend time outside.

  9. Wait, wait! Do you live in Japan? Or am I missing something with you showing the sakura trees in Japan? The reason I'm asking and I'm so excited is that I'm learning Japanese and I've always wanted to go to Japan and I've loved the Japanese culture since I was a young child.

  34. The cherry blossoms are lovely. They are quite a thing here in Oregon as well. The Portland Waterfront is lined with these trees and my hometown of Salem is known for their blossoms.

  43. Hopefully you're reading picks up soon. I usually find when I'm at the point of not reading but discovering new books I really want to chekc out is the point where I'm almost ready to pick up something new... just a case of finding the perfect book to start.

And I'm the same with losing time. I thought we had more weeks left in April but we're practically in May already. Where does the time go I ask you?

  48. I tried to comment earlier today using my iPad during my dinner break at work, but for some reason I couldn't post under my Google account, even though I was logged in. Now I've forgotten what I was going to say! I hope you enjoy the books you're looking forward to and that you've come to the end of your reading slump.

  54. I see a week (or weeks) of not reading is happening to lots of people (me included), Greg. It's not just you so don't feel bad, it's a stressful time for everyone and we should deal with it with what makes us feel good at the moment <3 Speaking of, I see you posted a video of cherry blossoms and I wanted to let you know that I actually went to enjoy that splendid view a couple of weeks ago! I recently posted a pic and a video about that on my Instagram account, I just LOVE them and I like to spread some joy with them :)

  55. Sigh, I hear you on not enough reading -- but after guilt-tripping myself quite a lot, I have just decided to take it easy and watch more shows till the reading bug comes back!
That pulp cover has a lot of stuff going on -- totally a story on its own. It's lovely.

Also to answer your question (that you left on my blog), I couldn't figure out how to get LOTR online to work at the end. Do you know of any tips to get it to work because it didn't seem to work on my computer.
