Top Ten Tuesday #277

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week a new Top Ten will be posted. Everyone is welcome to join. Link back so everyone can check out other bloggers' lists. It's a fun way to get to know fellow bloggers.

This week is Bookish Memories. I almost did this one but it seemed hard (I mean, I have lots of bookish memories but narrowing down ten and explaining them all)... so I went rogue again. This week I'm instead doing books or worlds I'd mash together. This was actually a topic back in 2018 so it's a bit of a re-post, but *shrug* Oh, and the original post is here in case you want to see the comments back then (and who knows, maybe you commented).

I almost feel sorry for Middle earth here. I mean don't get me wrong M-e can be rough but Westeros????

Can you imagine Murderbot in the Wayfarers universe?

The rats of NIMH running around Narnia

I'm gonna go with Murderbot again- this time in the Star Wars universe.

Katniss and Tris? And Four? Would Kat be Dauntless?

How about the X-Men and Suicide Squad? Would Logan and Harley get along?

If they can survive Piloria then Jurassic Park should be a breeze. Right?

I mean they could just join Clone Club at this point

I don't even know how this would work- it'd probably be a mess

Could these be mashed together? Might be a trip.

  4. Katniss would TOTALLY be Dauntless. And Peeta would be Abnegation. I LOVE this game!

  5. OOh fun topic! I had to have done this one, but I really can't remember. Lol. I'll have to save this idea for a freebie topic! Still have got to read The Extinction Trials. I'm making that a 2022 goal now!

    Here's my Tuesday Post

    Have a GREAT day!

  7. What a fun post Greg. Some of those covers creeped me out and I'm not one to be bothered by most images --(The Extinction Trial and Need --made me look away LOL)

  8. There are so many great mashes here, but I just can't get over Tolkien and Martin. That would be so epic...and LONG!

  15. I had to laugh at the mash-up of The Hunger Games and Divergent. Somehow I don't see Katniss and Tris playing well together. LOL

  16. Such a fun post. I would NOT want to live in a mix up of Middle Earth and Westeros though! Intrigued by The Hunger Games/Divergent mashup :)

  22. I'm not familiar with the majority of these books, but I have read both THE LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE and NIMH. Poor Narnia! LOL.

    Happy TTT!

  23. The Hunger Games and Divergent are a good pairing. I think it would almost be seamless joining them

  24. I get the first few ones but the last two, no idea since I haven't read those books or know what they are about. Maybe Murderbot can come and help them.

    Have a lovely day.

  28. GOT and Tolkien is an amazing mashup! Are you watching Wheel of Time? I wanted to like that so much, but it's no thank you from me for now. BUT i think it would go well with either Tolkien r GOT.

  29. Oh I see many books and series I love in this post. I loved the GoT books but after the third season on tv I quit watching. The Red Wedding was sooo much better in the book.
We are about to do a Lord of the Rings marathon here.

  30. Nice idea to bring different worlds together. They are all so "fantastic", you can't go wrong. LOL

    Thanks for visiting my TTT.

  32. The Rats in NIMH might feel safer in Narnia. I had no idea it was a book, I've only seen the classic 80's animated movie. It was one of my favorite movies as a child.

  33. Murderbot in Star Wars!!! yes, that sounds amazing. haha!

  34. It would be very dangerous to live in the mash up of Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones. Or as Boromir would say it, one can not simply live in that mash up. XD
