This week is books that should be adapted into Netflix shows/ movies. Fun topic. I was lazy though and just scanned my shelves for books I've enjoyed that would be fun shows, so I didn't put a ton of work into this, but honestly? I think these would all rock as shows!
3 girls- clones- who take turns going to school and pass themselves off as one person. Right?
I mean, the title all by itself...
A yacht of secrets and a murder...
How many Stone Age type shows do we have?
This could be fun!
Same here!
Perry and Gobi!!
I love amnesia stories!
This could be fun too!!
I'd love to see this done well.
It almost might have a Big Little Lies feel- minus some of the snark
Great list. The Originals sounds like it could be a really entertaining series.
ReplyDeletePretty sure from what I've read about her books, anything by Lauren Oliver would be interesting. :) "The Originals" also sounds intriguing.
ReplyDeleteHi Greg! And once again, I haven't read any of these. Please let them make movies of these! I love the premise of The Originals. But there was something like that... Not clones, but sisters that were hidden or something. I can't remember! Just know it was really good.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT, here's my 10 Books that should be adapted for Netflix
Replica would make a good tv show!
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I haven't read Panic, but from what I know it it sounds like it would make for a good film.
ReplyDeleteThese all seem to say movie to me.
ReplyDeleteOh nice! I've got to read The Extinction Trials! It's been on my TBR for far too long!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
Loving this list Greg -- especially Panic -- that cover makes me think it would be such a good thriller! AND, Au Revoir Crazy European Chick -- weirdly that cover makes me think that it would have such an epic show intro!
ReplyDeleteGreat list Greg, I think Panic would be good on the small screen!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read Extinction Trials yet but just judging from the cover and the premise it sounds like it'd be an awesome show! Great picks :)
ReplyDeleteI loved The Secret History of Us! I just requested The Blue from the library, but I already think that would make a great movie!
ReplyDeleteThe title alone on Extinction Trials, should get a studio's attention. https://pmprescott.blogspot.com/2020/08/ttt-081820.html
ReplyDeleteThe Blue would be my pick
ReplyDeleteI feel like Panic was optioned at least, by Amazon, if I am not mistaken. It would be a good movie. The plot is compelling enough and it moves briskly with lots of action.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of these! I do find that I wish a lot of books I read were a movie or TV show though. I want more! LOL

I'd watch the heck out of The Extinction Trials!
ReplyDeleteMy TTT .
The Blue, The Secret History of Us, and Eight Hundred Grapes all sound fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI'd so watch The Originals! And Panic would make a great movie. :)
ReplyDeletePanic would make a great TV show! I can totally picture it.
ReplyDeleteThe Extinction Trials sounds like an interesting one. Great list!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Top Ten Tuesday post.
I'd watch those shows! And I can think of some of my own :D
ReplyDeleteIt is exciting to make of dream list of books to be adapted. I've only read a couple of those, but I do agree.
ReplyDeleteI heard a lot of great things about 800 Grapes - one of these days I need to pick it up.
ReplyDeleteI agree with all of these that I read! I think both Ivory and Bone and Extinction Trials would be better movies/shows than books even! I'd definitely watch all of these!
ReplyDeleteI love the colors on The Shark Club cover. I still need to read some of these.
ReplyDeleteI've always loved the covers for The Blue and Shark Club. I might check out The Blue at some point though I'll look at the reviews first. YES to The Extinction Trials! I think I forgot to add that to my list!
ReplyDeleteThat Joe Schreiber book looks intriguing. I'll have to go and take a look at that one.
ReplyDeleteLynn :D
I have Replica sitting on my shelf but haven't gotten to it yet. Great choice for Netflix shows/movies :)
ReplyDeleteHere's my TTT
Why aren't there more stone age shows? Definitely under-represented!
ReplyDeleteAu Revoir read more like a movie to me so I totally see that one. So many books have been bought for Netflix/Amazon so you just might end up seeing a few of these.
ReplyDeleteKaren @ For What It's Worth
I haven’t read any of these books, but some of them look intense or scary, so I’d watch their shows for sure!
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
Why is The Originals not a TV show? Female clones all living as the same person? Awesome! The others I remember you reviewing a couple of these and do think you’ve chosen some good books for possible TV shows. At the rate Netflix is going lately I don’t doubt some of these may make the transition.
ReplyDeleteThis is like the list of books that I really want to read but haven't gotten to yet. I literally own like half of them 😂 so I had real plans.
ReplyDeleteOh great list! I see a bunch I really want to read and from the sounds of it they'd all make great shows. I'd love to see more cozy mystery series either on Hallmark or on Netflix. They've been my comfort reading lately and I can't get enough of them!
ReplyDeleteOh I love Eight Hundred Grapes! It would be a great rom-com with a gorgeous setting, too. <3
ReplyDeleteI still need to finish the Glow books. 😯
