Thanks to everyone for the well wishes last week- I am feeling a lot better. I still have a bit of a cough but I know a lot of people have had it worse. This week the big news for me was the School For Unusual Girls announcement. I saw on Twitter that book four is out! And how about that beautiful cover?

Oh, and it's $3.99 on Kindle right now!

Harbor for the Nightingale (Stranje House, #4)

In other news I started playing Star Wars: The Old Republic again. It's been about four years or so since I played and it was fun to re- acclimate- I started a new character and I guess I'll alternate between the new one and my old Smuggler. As if I need any more excuses to not read or watch or blog. Oh, well. Hope everyone had a great week, and happy weekend!

  1. Wow, it's been a long time since I've played SWTOR as well. I have good memories from it, met many of the peeps in my gaming circle through my guild back then. I miss my smuggler, I thought that class had the best story line!

  2. Glad you're feeling better, Greg! Those coughs always seem to linger and be the last thing to go. Love the cover for Harbor for the Nightingale. It's almost like I can imagine a movie to go along with the cover pic. :) The Hole was too funny. LOL

  3. I agree, that is a beautiful cover! Flu season will be getting underway here and I'm already arming myself with vitamin C crystals which boost the immune system to fight off the germs! I'm glad you're feeling better.

  4. Ha ha The Hole was hysterical! And I also loved the art piece The Hole. Nice theme😁

  8. I am glad you are feeling better, Greg. It seems like there's a couple different strands going around right now. I hope you are able to completely beat that cough soon. I love the cover of Harbor for a Nightingale. And that's a good price!

Now that's my idea of a tree house.

I hope you have a great weekend and week ahead, Greg.

  10. Happy to hear you have all but kicked your illness! So many people progressed into pneumonia from it. It's crazy. 😯

    Thanks for the music. 🎶

It's great you have a new School for Unusual Girls to enjoy. Maybe it will entice you away from the video game for a bit. Ha ha. 😄

Have a wondergul, and healthy, new week! 🌞

  21. Glad you're recovering, Greg - I hope the irritating cough soon goes! 30 Men Vowed They'd Have Her... Oh my goodness! No wonder she's looking a tad tired. Enjoy diving back into your Star Wars gameworld and have a great week:)

  22. Glad you're feeling better. Shaking the cough is always the hardest. I had no idea there were multiple books in the Unusual Girls series. It's a beautiful cover. Happy reading!

  23. Why haven't I heard of School For Unusual Girls? 🤔

  24. Oh bummer that you've been sick! I hope you feel better! I guess flu season is already starting up again. I'll be getting my flu shot when I get back to work.

I've never read The School For Unusual Girls or heard of the series. I'll have to check it out now that book four is out. I love the Airlock Love pic and I'm wondering if A Questionable Client is supposed to be Kate Daniels from Ilona Andrews series? There is a novella with that title and the woman looks like how Kate is described.

  25. Glad to hear you're recovering! It usually takes me WEEKS to stop croaking LOL.

I used to play arcade games a while ago (nothing like Star Trek, I assume!), but right now I stay away from them because they cut too much on my blogging time.

    Great art pieces as usual!

  26. I am happy to read that you are much better Greg! And have fun with Star Wars!

  28. Ah glad you feeling better, autumn flu season sucks. Careful with the cough.

    That pulp fiction cover 😂😂😂

  29. Glad to hear you're recovering well. I think that's my biggest anxiety about having a fall baby - he's born right at the start of flu season and is so young he 1- doesn't have a super strong immune system and 2- can't have a flu shot (I had one while I was still pregnant with him, though, so I passed along SOME immunity).

I still need to read the first School For Unusual Girls! I've wanted to since you reviewed it and actually have a copy of it sitting on my bookshelf. It's just about making the time!

    Have a great week!

  30. I haven’t heard of the Strange House series, I’ll have to look it up.
I definitely recommend the flu shot, I got it this year and haven’t been sick since even though my family did two or three times.

Wishing you a great reading week
