Mystery Blogger Award (July 2018)

mystery-blogger-award

I was tagged for the Mystery Blogger Award by Elle at Keep On Reading (thanks Elle!!!) and even though I just did one of these they're fun, and I appreciate being selected! So let's jump in!

RULES

1) Put the award logo on your blog

2) Thank whoever nominated you and include a link to their blog.

3) Mention the creator of the award and provide a link to their blog as well. (Maggie at okoto enigmas blog)

4) Tell your readers three things about yourself

5) Nominate 10-20 people

6) Notify your nominees

7) Ask your nominees any five questions of your choice, specifying one weird/ funny question.

8) Share a link to you best post(s).

Three Things About Me

1) I like onions only in fajitas or stir fry- otherwise no onions.

2) I sometimes have a book on my TBR for months, and then when it comes out- I change my mind.

3) 3 cats run this place

Elle's questions

1) Which magical world would you live in? (Books, movies, TV shows, any magical world)

Middle earth is my pick. Rivendell or maybe the Shire.

 2) Do you read during the day or night?

Probably more in the evening.

3) What is the most exotic food you've ever eaten?

I don't think I eat anything too exotic. Thai maybe?

4) The classic question: Should pineapple be on pizza?

I say no. I love pineapple (especially grilled-mmm) but not on pizza.

5) Would you rather let the general public think you're a horrible person, but your family is very proud of you or your family thinks you're a horrible person, but the general public is very proud of you?

Well I'd have to care more about what my family thinks, so I'd go with that.

My Best Post

  1. Yes to living in Rivendell! I love how beautiful and peaceful it looked in the films and you get well fed! I could get through so many books in that atmosphere!

What are your five questions Greg?

    1. Right? I could get through lots of books there! And yes- I guess that would help, wouldn't it?

  2. I'm definitely in the camp of NO pineapple on pizza! haha!

  3. I absolutely HATE onions, but I love French onion soup. How's that for weird? Lol

  4. That is funny about onions! I use to be the same way, well except salads, I could eat them in salads too weirdly enough. Now they've grown on me and I'm not as picky about what they are in unless it just isn't a good combo. ;)

    1. Ha ha I love tomatoes now but when I was younger I didn't want anything to do with them. :)

  5. I like onions, but, I do not like the texture of them if they are too big. Like when SO makes meatballs and there are these big onion chunks, blergh!

  9. No pineapple! That's gross! And I'm also guilty of adding things to my TBR (and showcasing them on Can't-Wait Wednesday) and then not wanting to read them!

  10. That last one is tough, but yeah, I'd have to have my family know I'm a good person more than anything. I love pineapple, but yeah, not on pizza. I'm not a big toppings person for pizza in general.

  12. UGH back to the whole "is family more important than humanity?" debate, are we? 😂 And I see Lauren up there agrees with you. Sigh. My question is- am I a good or bad person in this scenario? Because that matters more to me than what ANY of them think. And obviously I am reading too much into a blog tag question, so, moving on.

Onions are evil. They are the worst of all the edible plants. I concur about the pineapple on pizza, it's weird because pineapple is watery, and it sounds like it'd make for soggy pizza? Idk, but I do not want.

  13. I like pineapple and pepperoni pizza. this seems to be quite a divisive stance though lol

  14. yeah I would have gone with Family too! but what about Hawaiian pizza??? is SO GOOD Greg!

  15. I'm the other way - pineapple on pizza is the best. Yesterday, though, I tried a recipe with pineapple that I'd rather not try again - Little Smokies cooked in Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce with pineapple. I could have done with out the pineapple altogether there!

  16. I like onions in... absolutely nothing. LOL Yuck. Pineapple on pizza... meh.
Definitely would rather have the family think well of me! Who cares what everyone else thinks. :) Fun tag, Greg!
