Sunday Post/ It's Monday. What Are You Reading?

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It's Monday! What Are You Reading is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.

I hope everyone had a fabulous New Year! We're into 2014 now and it's a time of new beginnings. Accordingly, I have a slew of new reads lined up and am looking forward to delving into them. Some fantasy, dystopians, and a bunch of other good stuff as well. Check out my new arrivals below.

Saturday       Saturday Snapshot #3 - Christmas pics!
Friday           Movie Review: Frozen - loved it.
Thursday      Review: Avengers Annual #11 - classic comic review.
Wednesday Review: GAME  -  a thrill ride
Tuesday      Favorite Books of the Year - Top Ten goodness
Sunday Post #25/ It's Monday. What Are You Reading?

Alliance (The PAladin Prophecy #2). I'm very excited about this one- the Paladin Prophecy was one of my favorite books of last year and I'm looking forward to seeing where the sequel goes.

The Rule of Three

Mulled Murder

The Rule of Three by Eric Walters

Mulled Murder by Kate Kingsbury.

The true origin of Squeee? Probably not, but kinda funny.

Triumph of the English Major- a neat essay over at the New York Times Sunday Review. Worth a read.

Want a Hostess Fruit Pie? You might not after seeing this...

Check out the Veronica Mars trailer here

So how was your week?

  3. Nice books to start off the new year. I especially like the look of Mulled Wine.

    My Sunday post:

    1. Yeah it's kind of an eclectic mix, I'm reading all kinds of different things these days. Mulled Wine should be good.

  4. I haven't had a Hostess fruit pie in donkey's years, but I think I'll skip that link. I have a feeling it's not going to be pretty. lol My kids wanted to see Frozen, but we went with The Hobbit:II instead. Money only goes so far these days. :( I'm liking your book haul. Will need to check them out.

    Happy New Year!

  5. My daughter saw Frozen and absolutely loved it. I'd like to see it too. Enjoy your week.

  6. I went to the article for the Hostess food and then ended up watching a 5 mins video of nothing but them making the cakes, lol. I'm blaming it on the fact that I'm hungry and it's 1am. I really want to see Frozen. I had to choose between Frozen, Hobbit, and Catching I went the Hobbit.
I'm going to be reading Between Two Thorns soon. I hope you have a lovely week and enjoy your new books!
