This week is Top Ten Books From X Genre That You've Added To Your TBR. I decided to go with fantasy/ SF since those are my genres of choice, even though lately I've been reading a ton of thrillers and even some contemporaries. So here are some I'm looking forward to.
A murderous AI- and told from its perspective.
Killer hippos? Yup!
Interesting ones :) I wonder about the Wells one
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering about that too!
DeleteOoh, they look good. Will look forward to your reviews in due course.
ReplyDeleteThese covers look really cool! Let us know what they're like.
ReplyDeleteWill do!!
DeleteThe Pack looks interesting, and I need to try a Mira Grant book soon. It's always lovely to return to your fav genre :)
ReplyDeleteI agree, and I can't wait for The Pack.
DeleteI don't read a lot of SciFi/Fantasy but these covers are amazing!!
ReplyDeleteThere are some nice covers, I agree.
DeleteHorizon and Infinity have such enticing covers! It's so obvious that they're probably sci-fi/fantasy- but in a way that attracts even the most serious literature readers!
ReplyDeletearen't they? I can't wait to read both of those!
DeleteHorizon and Infinity have such great covers.
ReplyDeleteI know, I saw those and I needed them even before I read the synopses!
DeleteYou mentioned Into the Drowning Deep a week or so ago didn't you! Sci-Fi isn't usually my thing, but fantasy? Yes please! It is officially added to my TBR.
ReplyDeleteI did, you noticed that huh? :) I actually re-used a couple this week/ Shhh don't tell.
DeleteI added River of Teeth to my TBR recently too! It looks so unusual.
ReplyDeletemy TTT for this week
I know, I didn't think it would be for me but you know... I gotta read it!
DeleteI've heard good things about River of Teeth. Most of the other titles are new to me so I'm going to have to check them out.
ReplyDeleteRiver of Teeth does seem to be getting good buzz!
DeleteThis isn't my typical genre but the cover for Into the Drowning Deep has me super interested!! Great list!
ReplyDeleteMe too, can't wait to read that!
DeleteI've heard of none of these (...except the River of Teeth from your other post, LOL)! You'll have to let us know how that one is.
ReplyDeleteYou know, River of Teeth is one I didn't think I'd be into (despite the cover) but it's growing on me!
DeleteThese books aren't my genre but what great covers!
ReplyDeleteThere are some good ones!
DeleteOh man, all of these are new to me and they have great covers! I hope you get to check them out soon and love them all!
ReplyDeleteSeveral of these are new to me as well, I knew I wanted to do SF this week so I had to some looking. And ended up adding like three of these to my TBR!
DeleteSome of these look great! I'm reading more sci-fi than ever, and I will have to check these out. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm getting back into scifi after reading thrillers like all year so far, and a few contemps. Feels good to find some good SF...
DeleteInto the Drowning Deep sounds intriguing! Here is my Top Ten Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to that one!
DeleteThose are some beautiful covers! And interesting sounding books. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to fit in more science fiction this summer. We'll see how that goes.
Good luck! I've been reading thrillers all year lol so I'm definitely trying to get back into SF.
DeleteI'm hoping to push out of my genre comfort zone now that I've cleared most of my arc's out. We'll see how it goes lol
ReplyDeleteFor What It's Worth
I've been doing that a bit- reading thrillers and contemps (which I never read). It's been nice...
DeleteI'm not as into SF as I am into fantasy, but I know you love it, so hope you get to read at least a few of these this year. From your list, I might want to read Cassandra Rose Clarke's book, since I know of her from her assassin pirate series in last few years. Didn't read it, but checked them out online as possibility.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the week and your book searches!
Thanks Rita. And to be honest I've hardly read any SF this year, so maybe I can ease back in. I've never read Rose Clarke's stuff but I remember seeing reviews of those books, and they did look intriguing.
DeleteIt seems like I'm always adding to the pile, I can't help myself! These all look good so I hope you enjoy them and are able to read them all this summer!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I keep adding to the pile too. :(
DeleteKiller Hippos? I can not wait to read that review!
ReplyDeleteI know right I need to read that SOON.
DeleteKiller Hippos?! Now that's quite the concept! I hope you're able to enjoy some of these titles in the future.
ReplyDeleteI know, crazy isn't it? And it seems to be getting good buzz!
DeleteOoh, I love the look of The Pack. I hope you enjoy these books when you get around to them. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe Pack looks good, and is a sequel to The Wanderers which I really liked.
DeleteOh my! I don't think I've heard of any of these books! I'm so behind these days. I swear, I'm going to catch up on my tbr pile someday. Maybe. Probably not. (: Great list.. I'm on my way over to Goodreads to add some new books!
ReplyDeleteHa ha I just discovered a few of these myself, I knew I wanted to do SF but I was short on SF. Not anymore!
DeleteReally neat looking covers!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I think so.
DeleteThese covers all look so good! I'm especially intrigued by The Pack :)
ReplyDeleteMe too. :)
DeleteI don't recognize any of these titles or authors, but echoing Lindsey, I agree! The Pack looks interesting. It had me from the endorsement mentioning shape-shifters! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting Finding Wonderland, Greg, as always.
You're welcome, and thanks for stopping by. The Pack is a sequel to The Wanderers, and that was pretty good
DeleteA new one from Mira Grant! I need to check that one out.
ReplyDeleteMe too!
DeleteI rarely read sci-fi so thanks for the list!
ReplyDeleteJen @ YA Romantics
You're welcome, and I've been reading not much either so a lot of these were new to me!
DeleteI haven't heard of any of these, bit I'd love to pick up more science-fiction books. Have a lovely week!
ReplyDeleteYou too Alicia, thanks!
DeleteRiver of Teeth is terrifying sounding! I've heard great things about Mira Grant but have yet to read anything by her. Hope you enjoy them!
ReplyDeleteI know right? Killer hippos... yikes.
DeleteI don't read much sci-fi/fantasy but I do enjoy the cover designs quite a lot. :)
ReplyDeleteI do , they're different. :)
DeleteGreat picks! A few were already on my list, and you've just added a few more ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks, and great!!!
DeleteLove the cover for The Pack! It seems like you read such diverse genres of books---I'm always impressed by that!
ReplyDeleteNicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction
I do tend to jump around a bit. SF and fantasy are mainstays but I love how blogging has definitely expanded my horizons! And I can't wait for The Pack- I love that cover.
DeleteWhat?!? Killer Hippos! Count me in too. ;)
ReplyDeleteMy TTT: http://books.thetechchef.net/top-ten-tuesday-28/
I know right???
DeleteRiver of Teeth is on my list to read soon. So many books, not enough time!
ReplyDelete~Mogsy @ BiblioSanctum
I need to read River of Teeth!!!
DeleteSFF for the win! River of Teeth looks seriously atmospheric and how can one turn down killer hippos? Honestly, it's not even a question!
ReplyDeleteYes!! River of Teeth is on my TBR after at first thinking I wasn't interested. And I love that cover.
DeleteOoh some of these look really good!
ReplyDelete-Lauren
Thanks Lauren! I think so too.
DeleteThe murderous AI definitely sounds quite interesting. Also stabby, which is good. Also, killer hippos?? 😂 I love it!
ReplyDeleteStabby for the win! And killer hippos! No one thought of that earlier??
DeleteI hope you get River of Teeth soon! To be honest I'm kinda for it too...
ReplyDeleteYAY the killer hippos made the list! I looked it up and it had mixed reviews, so you have to let us know if it is worth it. Because tbh, I kind of want to read it? Is The Pack the sequel to The Wanderers? I still need to read that. Into the Drowning Deep looks good too, of course. Off to look up the others, too, for the covers have intrigued me! Great list :D
ReplyDeleteI like the covers and I confess that they're all new to me
ReplyDeleteAs you know, I gravitate more toward fantasy than SF, but some of these look interesting, especially Star's End. And I hope you read and review the hippo book, because I've been seeing it all over the place and the premise is absurdly cool.
ReplyDeleteOh The Pack looks really good! Fantastic cover, too :)
ReplyDeleteThese are all quite tempting! Into the Drowning Deep looks like one that I might have to add to my list.
ReplyDeleteReally great line-up you have here. The cover for The Caledonian Gambit looks so striking - not much of a sci-fi person (although that may be just because I haven't read many), but I'll look into that one. :)
ReplyDelete~ Aimal @ Bookshelves & Paperbacks
Looks like some great books! I'm intrigued by River of Teeth! Hope you enjoy them all!
ReplyDeleteNot the biggest SF fan, but I`m trying to get more into the genre. Can we talk about the cover for "Into the Drowning Deep" though? Gorgeous. They say you shouldn`t judge a book by its cover, but I`d probably read it just for that.

I plan to read River of Teeth at some point in the future. It's anyone's guess when that will be though! I like The Pack cover too. Nice list!
ReplyDeleteYES the killer hippos XD
ReplyDeleteI need to get back into the loop of new release books and just reading in general! Most of these are new to me titles so it looks like I'll need to look some of them up :D
I've got a couple Mira Grant books sitting at home and I need to read them, they just sound so good. There are a lot of good SF books coming out in the near future it seems. Great list!
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of any of these books before, but they all have equally stunning covers and look like they have a lot of promise. I am curious to know what you'll think of them!
