Sunday Post #550

So State of Art (Michigan State winter guard) are at two more events for the rest of the season. In other news I'm including a couple Youtube shorts I discovered this week from a guitarist- one of them is my lyric of the week song. Serendipitous.

And... Movies That Suck for the week is... Desperately Seeking susan

This week's discussion post is Book Collecting

Here is this week's lyric.
Live baby live
Now that the night is over

Here is the lyric f/ last week and the answer

In the still of the night I hear the wolf howl honey
 Sniffing around your door

   Song of the week

  1. I hope everything is going ok on your end. You've been kind of scarce so it's nice to see you post. Have a nice Easter/spring weekend.

  2. Oh, it's like a White Snake Post! So cool..and I can't wait to check out the English Manor. Thanks for the vintage too! Hope you have a beautiful weekend. I will be at the library tomorrow..all day..hopefully, it won't be too bad. And I don't have to worry about Easter Sunday. I did get to make a Trader Joe's run today and I haven't been there since last year! 💕🧁🐰💕🐰 Thanks for reading and thanks for your comments. It's kind of funny about Holly..but then again, I have been having fun with many of my Ellie characters too! I always enjoy changing it up..although, I don't know if I'm right for the Writer's group. I am not sure what their real purpose is...I just want to keep doing what I'm doing.... I hope you get a chance to get back to your creativity. All the best! Happy Easter!

    1. Hope your Saturday was warm and nice. A chill here. We were hopping early on at the library, but a slow afternoon. Hope you are having some good times with friends and family and lots of tastey foods!

    2. You know Desperately Seeking Susan is in my top 5. Madonna was being the Madonna I always thought she was. And I love the cast and so much of the dialogue..and of course, I have never forgotten about Dez! or his flat.

    5. Nothing too crazy here on April Fools...a little damp and a cold wind. But the bad weather missed us so I am thankful.

    6. Thanks for the comments..It seems in recent years, births have changed a lot. Usually, the Dad stays in the room too. And it seems more women are standing up when they deliver. & well..Sunny & Louie...hmmmm...(✿◡‿◡)

    7. Warmer today..kind of..I did post on Cherry Blossoms and tomorrow Holly & Stevie. All the best to keeping up with everything...gotta say the tagging at the library just won't stop. It has been a headache trying to get my other stuff done, too..I dunno if I'm gonna like this move. I hear we will have a small space to work in..and we are already in over our heads in donations.

  4. Desperately Seeking Susan was of questionable taste (though I saw it in the theatre), but that jacket was amazing.

  7. Sophie Lloyd is an amazing guitarist! And I love the movie Desperately Seeking Susan. I always thought it was cool how Susan could live so casually like that with so little stuff. ;D Have a great weekend, Greg. And Happy Easter!

  8. Adding the English Manor Lo-Fi to my Reading Music playlist! How fun! I always forget Murder on the Orient Express was also published under Murder in the Calais Coach. Not nearly as clever as a title I think. Have a great week!

  9. The lyric is INXS but I can't quite remember the song it belongs to - Suicide Blonde? Have a great week!

  10. That Jazz Hop thing is so neat to watch and see all the little movements as it goes along! I remember the song from Desperately Seeking Susan with Madonna, but I don't think I ever watched the movie. I was a pre-teen/teen when those were out and really into the teen movies, and my parents were kind of strict about that, even though they let me watch all kind of horror movies, lol. Hope you have a good week!
