  1. Wow, #26! This must have been part of a popular series. I wonder where the Mafia's new center for narcotic and white slavery is?

    1. Pendleton wrote up through 38 or 40.
then it went ghost written and was into the 400 or 500's before getting the axe...

  2. I wonder if the Bond movies took inspiration from this series.

  3. Something about the specific-ness of the *new* center for narcotic and white slavery strikes me as funny!

  4. It's a very straight forward tagline!

Grady Hendrix has been posting covers of this series on his author Facebook page as of late. They sure do bring back memories.

  5. Man - that bad guy is covering all his bases: drugs AND white slavery! :) The cover certainly makes me think of Bond or Mission Impossible - you know those guys who are always chasing or being chased?

  10. I must agree with the others, as soon as I saw the cover I immediately thought of James Bond! Honestly, I really like the 007 vintage vibe it gives off! Nice pick, Greg :)

  11. Aculpulco Rampage sounds like a great name for a late 70's early 80's movie! I love the vibe!
