  1. I love this twist on the topic! I like one word books, when the word is as descriptive as these are.

  2. A great list. I don't think that I read many books with one word titles.

    Have a great week!

  5. A one-word title echoes. Insurgent-t-t-t-t. Contagion-n-n-n. Nice.

  7. Great twist on the topic. Seeing Insurgent takes me back. Those first two books were so exciting.

  8. I feel like there are so many titles these days that are super long and complicated, so a one-word title is pretty unique and so powerful!

  9. Why is it that one word titles imply so much dread and suspense? In just one word? Reinforced, of course, by the covers - and you found some great covers too, as usual.

  10. Have to agree, great twist on the topic and tying it in with actual books. One word titles are most often the best reads.

  13. Is Ten a retelling of And Then There Were None? That's the vibe I'm getting from the cover.

  14. It takes a strong word to stand alone, so it's interesting to see which ones are used. Nice list!

  15. You did all single word titles too. Insurgent has a certain feel to it that I like

  16. Great words for titles and awesome covers too! Both help make each of those stories intriguing.

I've only read INSURGENT on your list, but I really love the titles for that trilogy.

    Thanks for stopping by!
