Sunday Post #453

Another weekend. This past week I started a new show- Welcome to Eden. Good so far. Also continuing my theme of showcasing worlds I'd love to live in- one of my favorite artists. This one also was inspiration for a story I wrote.

In other news...

PULP COVER OF THE WEEK:

  1. I'm almost positive that first piece of art was used for one of Asia's album covers back in the early 80's. I remember it well. :)

    1. Yep! I had the same feeling, so I looked up Asia covers on the net, and this one was used for their album Alpha - the only difference being, of course, the band's logo added on top of the eyes on the pyramid. They had awesome covers. The artist also worked for Yes.

  2. The trailer looks great! Some very breathtaking art too! Wow, just imaging what would be there kind of makes me dizzy in a good way..=) Which leads me I did get back to my Wuxia story. Although, I am sure it's not Wuxia enough. Although, my last post on it was December 10th last year. I had not meant to go so long to get back to it. But after watching the Condor Heroes I thought..well, maybe I should get these two(fl&ml) out of the cave. Of course, I don't think it went over well that the most power martial arts figure could turn himself in to a horse. But I'll have a new post Sunday.

    1. Hope the weekend is off to a great start. We have a chill which is pretty nice. Which means..why not one more cup of coffee. I watched another episode of It's Not Mystery with Suda Masaki last night. He really plays Kunou Totono so perfectly. I'm beginning to think he might be friends with ghosts. I hope I can watch ARE YOU SAFE with Tan Jian Ci but it hasn't came out yet. Meanwhile I will just have to think of him as Tobey in my Holly and Stevie story.

  15. Beautiful artwork once again.

Glad you've found a new show to enjoy. I'm going to have to start doing that since my shows have mostly been cancelled now. Or maybe it's time to stick to the DVDs I've bought over the years. So many of those shows are calling me for a rewatch.

  17. How many seasons does Eden have so far? or is it just getting started? Streaming and binging entire seasons has really screwed me up when it comes to shows now.

  19. I love that trippy, dreamscape style art. Welcome to Eden looks great (like a dystopian version of Lost?) but I don't have Netflix so will have to wait to borrow my sisters when I'm housesitting!

  32. Beautiful artwork this week. I love it all. Welcome to Eden looks interesting. With all the stress and other things going on in my life right now, I'm staying away from subtitled shows, though. I need shows I can mindlessly watch, lol. Otherwise, I'd be bingeing Kdramas. Ha!

  35. I haven't heard of Welcome to Eden but I'm glad you like it. We've gotten sucked into Outer Range on Amazon. It's like X-Files meets a modern Western. We're almost finished with the first season and we don't have a clue what's going on! We keep watching to try to figure it out.

    Enjoy your week!
