Sunday Post #567

 

Movies That Suck returns this week with a goodie- Mysterious Island. This is one of my favorite movies so this was fun to put together. I mean, nostalgia. I haven't done one of these in a while. And I leave this week for C2E2


Oh, and my throwback Movies That Suck post is Night of the Comet. Here's a peek.    

  

Here's a peek too at some fun stuff. Virtual Japan takes a look at early cherry blossoms and then for something completely different we have a little jam at the NAMM guitar convention. Highlight at 7:03 as they cover Pat Benatar's Heartbreaker. And... and... I found a new site Raining Sound. I play these in the background sometimes.

    The cherry blossom was nice but I can't watch it all the way through because of it's HDR which my screen cannot handle and which ends up looking like I had turn on the brightness to the extreme and there's no way to make it darker.

    I prefer murder - I like that title.

    Do you know I was just thinking about Night of the Comet the other day! It was random and because I thought But Not Tonight was in that movie, but it was not.

    I totally remember Night of the Comet! I saw it when it came out and thought it was fun. Haven't seen it since, but it makes me smile to think about.

    I don't think I have seen Mysterious Island before. I might have to give it a try just to experience it. I do remember Night of the Comet though. The cherry blossoms are beautiful. I hope you have a good week, Greg.

    When cherry trees bloom, it's magical! My son and his GF will be there, they are excited for the Hobbits--they dressed as Samwise (her) and Frodo (him) for Halloween.

    One of my all-time favorites, so this one was a blast to put together. Haven’t done one of these in a while, but it felt good to dive back in.

    That video of the cherry blossoms is beautiful! And the jam night video is fun too, I watched part of it but I scrolled through and there are lots of great songs, I especially love the Sunshine of Your Love and Bring Me To Life.
