Sunday Post 558

Two weeks in a row! Could it be I'm back? I almost forgot how to do a Sunday Post. The big news is I wrote a story prompt for Ellie and you can read it here.

After a long hiatus I've begun watching Virtual Japan again. This is a wonderful look at the Christmas lights in Tokyo.

Oh, and my Movies That Suck post for the week is The Valley of Gwangi. Discussion post of the week is Does Your Personality Shine Through On Your Blog?

  1. Fun prompt! I've been missing your stories.

That pulp cover...what's that thing? A giant watermelon? 😂

  3. Oh, thank you so much for the story! And thank you for the link! It was fun to read your take on the prompt! Funny, I did one too. And I did mine before I read yours. I will be posting it soon. Thanks again. Happy Thanksgiving weekend!

    2. I hope you are having a great start of the year. I have been bombarded with blog reads from 10 years ago recently in my blogger feed and it is truly bothersome. I have no idea why they are showing up. Hope you update soon. Hope we find out what you like best in reads of 2024 and more. Happy 2025!

    4. Oh, I hope you post again. I did find maybe one or two people I like on Instagram, but I'd rather be on blogger.

  4. It feels like it's been ages since I saw you around! Though that might be partly because I've been struggling to keep up with visiting other folks... :s Anyway, hope you've been well!

  5. I read your story prompt and it was SO good. I love how you took a Thanksgiving basket and made it sinister. And what a great opening for a longer story! I hope you had a good Thanksgiving with your family. Happy that you're back. :D

  9. Back or not, doesn't matter. The holidays are coming so maybe we'll all be a little absent from our blogs. It's good you're writing again.

    Have a lovely day.

  21. The struggle to get back into blogging IS REAL. I'm in the same boat. I always post with the best intentions but then fail to keep up with it. I miss you guys! I miss talking and hearing about books and life! I noticed a lot of my old friends no longer have active blogs, and while I definitely understand it, it makes me sad.
