To participate you grab your current read, open to a random page and share (2) teaser sentences from somewhere on that page. BE CAREFUL NOT TO INLUDE SPOILERS (Make sure what you share doesn't give too much away. You don't want to ruin the book for others). Share the title and author
Cath didn't have any English classes this semester, and she was thinking about changing her major.
If you study something that nobody cares about, does that mean everyone will leave you alone?
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell p. 259

I need to get a copy of this! After reading Eleanor & Park I'm officially in love with Rainbow Rowell's writingReplyDelete
- Allie @ Little Birdie Books
I'm not very far into it yet, but so far I'm really liking it. I actually didn't think it was out yet but saw it at the bookstore and snatched it up!Delete
Great teasers, they both sound good. Mine: The Perks of Being a WallflowerReplyDelete
Thanks Heather. I'll be checking yours out too...Delete
The End of Night sounds interesting. I know that on the few occasions I am in the 'middle of nowhere' I am amazed at all the stars!ReplyDelete
Thanks for stopping by!
I know, isn't it amazing when you get away from all the lights?Delete
It is hard to see the stars in many places. Thanks for visiting. My cats rule my house too.ReplyDelete
Thank you for visiting. I think that's true in a lot of cat households. :)Delete
It is so true when you leave the lights of the city you can really "see" the stars. Enjoy the book. Fangirl is on my TBR list.ReplyDelete
I miss seeing a really starry sky, it's like something is missing. Thank for stopping, have a good one!Delete
Both great teasers Greg... had a little giggle with the Fan Girl one!ReplyDelete
Here's My Tease!!
Naomi @ Nomi’s Paranormal Palace
Thanks Naomi! Yeah Fangirl is full of good quotes, I'll be quoting that book all over the place probably. It's pretty funny...Delete
Great teasers for both of these books! It is interesting that the more we as a species rely on artificial light, the more we lose sight of just how magnificent a starry night can be. Having lived in cities most of my life, I was so amazed and awed by the night sky when I finally moved out to the country and didn't have any artificial light around me. And seeing the starry skies over a desert is something that one can never forget!ReplyDelete
Thanks for stopping by my teaser!
Wendy @ Escape Into Fiction
Thanks, totally agree! Thats actually the point he makes in the book we lose something when we forget what the sky really looks like. And there's nothing like a truly starry night.Delete
