Wow all thses authors are new to me and I LOVE some of the covers here..especially The Invisible Library..Will be checking out these books on Goodreads :) Great list!
ReplyDeleteI hope you find some you like... Invisible Library is good!
DeleteRebel Bully Geek Pariah is definitely on my list to read as soon as I get time. I've heard really good things about it and I love under the radar books!!
ReplyDeleteI liked it. I would read more of her stuff...
DeleteI haven't read any of these authors! The Girls in the Garden is on my wish list though. It sounds so intriguing.
ReplyDeleteThe Girls in the garden is really good. I saw some reviews and waited a while before I read it, but I was glad I did. :)
DeleteAnother vote for Invisible Library! Thanks!

You too! Good book...
DeleteGenevieve Cogman made my list too and I'm hoping to read The Girls in the Garden sometime soon since I have a copy on my TBR pile.
ReplyDeleteI hope you like The Girls in the Garden.
DeleteI'm really curious about all of these too be honest. Night School will definitely probably happen and The Immortals sounds awesome! The others do as well. My TBR is getting bigger from this weeks TTT. Great post!
ReplyDeleteThe Night School books are pretty good. They maybe stretch on a little long (5 books) but The Immortals I was quite pleased with. And yeah this meme kills my TBR (in a good way).
DeleteI love the Incryptid series but only read the first two. There are so many novellas in that series as well so I think I'm going to have to start over from the beginning when I do decide to pick it back up. I wanted to read The Girls in the Garden when it came out, but never got around to it. You've just reminded me. Cogman made my list as well and from the few blogs I've visited already, the lists of many others too. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteI've only read the first one but I should continue. The talking mice! She seems very prolific so sometimes I'm not sure what to read next. The Girls in the Garden is very good and thought provoking. And the Invisible Library I highly recommend!
DeleteI love Kelley Armstrong! I haven't read City of the Lost yet but it's defnitely on my TBR. Night School Resistance and The Girls in the Garden look pretty intriguing too!
ReplyDeleteI liked City and the next one is coming out in Feb I think? The Girls in the Garden is quite good.
DeleteThanks for the recommendation of The City of the Lost, I have downloaded a sample.
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of further Kelley Armstrongs for you to enjoy! Her YA books get a good write up but I don't really read the genre now. WOTO series was pretty good with lots of good characters.
ReplyDeleteI will have to read Girl From the Sea in 2017. I remember reading your review earlier this year and really enjoying it.
ReplyDeleteI have most if not all of these on my TBR pile, I'm hoping to get to City of the Lost by the end of the year. I'm glad you enjoyedd your first Kelley Armstrong book and hope you read her other stuff soon. She's amazing! Thanks for stopping by my TTT post Greg.
ReplyDeleteOooo, nice list! All the authors you've listed are new ones for me to check out. Happy reading!!
ReplyDeleteI've only read Armstrong out of these^^ I spent 2016 reading through my backlist books which included very few new authors (unfortunately) I do want to read The Invisible Library and The Immortals though and I'm hoping to do so next year!
ReplyDeleteWell here's a list of authors I need to read next year! I haven't read anything from any of these authors, but a lot of them sounds familiar. Thanks for visiting my TTT earlier Greg!
ReplyDeleteLisa Jewell's on my list Greg and I've heard good things about her work, but not yet come across any of it. Surely it must be available here in Australia - I must check it out.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed Kelley Armstrong's Darkest Powers trilogy. Glad you enjoyed her as well!
ReplyDeleteInvisible Library is one I desperately need to read! From what I've read it sounds a lot like The Librarians. Have you seen that show? Hulu has the first season (and maybe the 2nd) and the 3rd just started. Lisa Jewell is an author I need to try and I really want to read Sanctuary Bay and Night School Resistance and really anything by Kelley Armstrong. Great list!
ReplyDeleteI have not seen The Librarians! I did see previews for it and maybe a few minutes of one of the episodes, but that's about it. It looked good though. And yes I think the premise would be very similar to this!
Delete100% with you on Kelley Armstrong, I can't wait to read the follow-up either. And I didn't include The Immortals on my list today, but I'll definitely feature it in my best debuts of 2016.

I need to try Armstrong and Cogman! :) Thanks for visiting my blog earlier, Greg!
ReplyDeleteMira Grant made my non-existent list that I came up with in the comment section of Holly's blog so... that's the same as Seanan McGuire! I also MUST read Kelley Armstrong- I have a few of her books on my shelf right now! And I am officially adding The Immortals to my TBR because everytime I see that cover, I WANT IT so... might as well haha. I have The Invisible Library too. I seriously have a lot of reading to do. Great list!
ReplyDelete(Also, just went to add The Immortals.. yeah, it was already there. This is how big of a TBR problem I have.)
Mira Grant's mermaid novella got me interested, and I'll definitely read more of her stuff. she publishes a ton! And I'd love to see what you think of The Immortals!
DeleteKelly Armstrong is amazing! And Casey Duncan is a fantastic heroine. Looking forward to the next book to this series, for sure. :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of any of these authors, but The Girl from The Sea has a stunning cover! :)
ReplyDeleteHave loved Armstrong's books for awhile but Cogman was a new author for me this year and really enjoyed the series
ReplyDeleteYay for Genevieve Cogman! I am glad to see her on your list, Greg. I am really anxious to read The Immortals. It sounds so good. All of the books and authors on your list do, for that matter. Discount Armageddon is on my wish list from when you first reviewed it. I haven't read the Kelley Armstrong book you mention, but I've enjoyed other books by her. Thanks for sharing, Greg!
ReplyDeleteA few of those look really good. I still need to get to Seanan McGuire's books. :D
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have read books by any of these authors! But the cover for "The Girls in the Garden" is definitely intriguing! I'll have to keep an eye out for that one!
ReplyDeleteLisa Jewell was new to me as well. I am looking forward to reading more of her stuff.
ReplyDeleteI love LOVE Seanan MCguire's series and I just started reading her Indexing series which makes me giddy at how good it is. She's just amazing!
ReplyDeleteOh I LOVE that there's the Sanctuary Bay on this list, I loved that book so much <3
ReplyDeleteAll new to me because I haven't read any of these!
ReplyDeleteI am happy to see The Invisible Liubrary on here! I am excited to read it. :)
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to check out Seanan McGuire and Kelley Armstrong - Maybe in 2017! All the rest are completely unknown to me though I do think The Immortals is on my TBR.... Nice list of all kick ass-looking female authors!
ReplyDeleteI had planned to do a post about new to me authors later this month, but not sure if I can have time tow rite it. It's fun to see which new authors you tried this year. I like seeing Armstrong on your list! She's one of my favorite authors.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Seanen Maguire!! (Well, ok I've never read anything of hers under her name, but I've loved her Mira Grant books). I actually got to meet her last year and she's both super interesting and super knowledgeable about...well a variety of things. Which of course just makes me even more interested in her works, so I'm glad you discovered her!
