Well that's intriguing! I don't know of this book but I like the cover and the tagline. I'd pick it up and read the blurb based on that alone. It looks almost like a sci-fi but given the title and the tagline I'd have to say maybe more of a mythological fantasy?
I read The Immortals earlier this year and really enjoyed it. It's sort of like Deborah Harkness's All Souls Trilogy with a Greek mythology twist (and no vampires or witches) and a crime storyline that reminded me of True Detective, Season 1. It sounds like a weird mix, but it really works. Very intelligent, action-packed, and humorous in spots.
Yes, that tagline definitely makes me want to know more! That's one of those taglines that is so good I probably would pick it up without even reading the summary. LOL. :D
It's IMPOSSIBLE NOT to want to know more! Which is why this is on my tbr shelf :D Well that and yours and a few other positive reviews from trusted blogger friends LOL!
