Top Ten Holiday Gift Guide

 

 Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week a new Top Ten list will be posted. Everyone is welcome to join. Link back to The Broke and the Bookish so everyone can check out other bloggers' lists. It's a fun way to get to know fellow bloggers.

This week's topic is a Top Ten Holiday Gift freebie- ten books for the YA lover, a parent, etc. Who doesn't like to give books, or book recommendations? However this week I'm looking at gift ideas- not only stuff I'd like to get, but stuff I'd love to give as a gift. Funko's are here since I'm into those now (thanx Instagram). And there's some other miscellaneous stuff too...

Hobbit Tales- From the Green Dragon Inn is a game where you tell a story using cards- but other players try to disrupt your story using cards of their own. It looks like a blast. 


I need the Mystique Funko. 

Yes I want the Orion slave Girl. Sue me. 


My new favorite Star Wars heroine. 



Okay in this game you drink and carouse after the adventure. the winner is the one who stays the most sober and has the most coins. How could I not want this?

    Great idea for the TTT. Yes Funko pops are really awesome aren't they? And the art prints look so gorgeous! Also I like that cover of Pride and Prejudice :)

    Instagram is good about making you want funkos. So far I have resisted but I don't know how much longer I can hold out. ;)

    What a fun list. I think Funkos look fun, but at the moment I don't have the space to collect them (or anything really). If I did, I'd want the full Buffy set. I love the Pride and Prejudice cover. My all time favorite book and if I had the space, I think I would collect the different editions and covers.

    My wish list is probably more than the ten we're allowed today. Lol. I do have a lot of books and a couple of bookish things so I could probably lump the books in one then name others. *nods* Yep.

    These are great, Greg! Hobbit Tales sounds like a lot of fun. I think I will add that to my wish list. Maybe we can play for Christmas if I receive it. :-) Those covers are very nice on the Rock Paper Books you shared. I can see why you'd want them.

    Pop! figures are so cute. I actually only own one (Chewbacca) but really am digging that Mystique one. They are releasing Gilmore Girl ones at the end of the year and I'm sooooo pre-ordering them.

    Love those funky Funko dolls! I didn't know they were a thing and then a friend showed me the Friends dolls, complete with a re-enactment of the opening credits of the show. Love your list, thank you for the ides!

      You are welcome, and I know what you mean about the Funko Pops. I saw them all the time on posts or Instagram, but never thought much about them at first. Then I got one and thought hey these are kinda neat. Now I'm probably addicted. :)

    Hobbit Tales looks like SO MUCH fun....I wonder if I have any irl friends who I could rope into playing with me..... Also especially love the book covers for the classics - very nice gifts indeed!

    You guys are on your own with the Funko Pops. I think they are ugly. Ha ha. I love reissues of classics with new covers. I want them all!

    I wish you lots of luck on getting items from this list. There is some fun stuff here. Your office must be so cool to hang out in. How do you refrain from playing with everything ^__^? Mountain Mike's was good pizza. We used this family pack coupon where we got 2 large pizzas, a side order of buffalo wings, a liter of Sierra Mist, and a side order of bread sticks with cheese! You know having kids how much they can eat and how costly pies can be. I'm glad we finally tried out Mountain Mike's. It'll be our go-to for pizza night now.

    Any and all of the LotR/Star Trek/Star Wars stuff is fine by me :D I'm scared to get into the Funko stuff, I have a feeling I'll get hopelessly addicted and spend a lot of money LOL!
