This week is Top Ten Books on my Fall 2018 TBR. Most of these are books that are just coming out, or will be soon, although there may be one or two that have been out for a while, and I just haven't gotten to them yet.
YAY for Wildcard. Really like this duo - and they make me more curious for more of Marie's books. Also, Onyx and Ivory looks so intense, but interesting and of course, SOMEDAY I must read a book by Jenna Evans Welch. :)
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way- I'm really curious now about Marie's other books, based on Warcross! And I can't wait to read Wildcard. Oh and I highly recommend Love and gelato by Jenna Evans Welch. Good stuff!
DeleteI really can't wait to see what Broken Things is like. It looks incredible! My TTT
ReplyDeleteI am very hopeful too.
DeleteOnyx & Ivory and The Cheerleaders are both on my TBR. Don't know when I'll get to them though. There are so many other books I want to read, haha.
ReplyDeleteI pre-ordered Wildcard - hoping to read it as soon as it arrives! :D
Happy reading!
My TTT: https://booksandmunches.com/2018/09/18/ttt-18092018/
Same here- I want to read both, but WHEN?
DeleteI'm hoping to get to Wildcard soon as well!
Nine Perfect Strangers and Broken Things are two I am for sure excited about! Hope you enjoy all of these.
ReplyDeleteSame here!
DeleteOoh nice! Can't wait for Wildcard. Who knows when I'll actually get to read it! I feel like last year I was reading all sorts of ARCs for duologies but was denied an ARC of the second one which now makes it really hard to read them as they release since I have so much more on my plate! Lol.
ReplyDeleteAbout to start Broken Things soon and I am excited! Hope you enjoy all of these this fall!
Here's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
It is a problem! I hope you get to it soon. I'm torn because I want to read it as soon as it's out (oops it's actually out NOW) but I have a few others I feel the same way about. Book blogger problems. :)
DeleteWildcard and Nine Perfect Strangers are must reads for me too. I hope my eLibrary gets them. Same with The Cheerleaders. I adored Love & Luck. It was a great family and friendship story. I am currently reading Broken Things and so far, I am quite interested in learning more.
ReplyDeleteExactly- must reads! I'm especially anxious for new Moriarty. And The Cheerleaders has me SO curious.
DeleteI have still to read Liane Moriarty and I think I should start with Nine PErfect Strangers! It sounds so good!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good place to start! Although I always recommend Big Little Lies!
DeleteGreat list! Broken Things sounds like the perfect read for the spooky season, and I love the cover of Number One Chinese Restaurant.
ReplyDeleteI think so too! And I can't wait to get to Number One chinese.
DeleteI plan to read Warcross at some point but I think that will probably be well into next year before I find the time!
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid it may take me a while too, even though part of me wants to read it right now!
DeleteBroken Things is on my TBR too. Also, I have heard good things about Cheerleaders.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy all of these books.
My TTT: https://flippingthruthepages.com/2018/09/books-on-my-fall-2018-tbr/
I've been seeing The Cheerleaders around a LOT- and Broken Things too for that matter.
DeleteUm...I still haven't read Warcross. I need to get on that.
ReplyDeleteWell... you could read them together now, assuming you like Warcross!
DeleteBroken Things looks awesome. It's been a while since I read anything by Lauren Oliver, and I think I need to check this one out. Seeing Wildcard on your list reminds me that I really need to get around to reading Warcross. Hope you have a great Tuesday! :D
ReplyDeleteSame here, and I have high hopes. And happy Tuesday!
DeleteI have so many of these on my TBR, too. Uncharted is one I recently came across, and of course, Liane Moriarty is a given!
ReplyDeleteYes she is, and Uncharted is a recent discovery for me too- looking forward to!
DeleteUgghhh, I've got to pick up The Cheerleaders soon!
ReplyDeleteI do too!!
DeleteI'm excited about The Consuming Fire as well. Great list, Greg!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tammy! I liked the first one so I'm hopeful!
DeleteWildcard made my list this week too! I can't wait to read more after the cliffhanger in the first book. I've seen Broken Things a lot this morning and have added it to my TBR. Hope you enjoy these!
ReplyDeleteHere's my TTT.
I've seen Wildcard on a lot of lists- I think it will be a hot one! And yes Lauren's new one is everywhere!
DeleteI definitely want to read Nine Perfect Strangers and Broken Things! I have looked at the Love and Luck book too cause it takes place in Ireland right? And I know you liked her previous book Love and Gelato. The covers of Wildcard and Light Between Worlds are stunning!
ReplyDeleteYes Love & Luck is set in Ireland! And I did- Love & Gelato was enough to make me at least look at anything else she writes. I love that cover of Wildcard!
DeleteThe Consuming Fire is on my list too, though via Audible, as I love Wil Wheaton's narration.
ReplyDeleteI've never listened to him!
DeleteSo many great books! Several of these are on my wish list or TBR pile, and a couple are completely new to me. I just got notice the audio of Wildcard has arrived in my inbox--now just to listen to Warcross! Have a great week, Greg. Enjoy your books!
ReplyDeleteHope you like Warcross!
DeleteWoo for Wildcard! About four hours until I can start reading it! Laura Weymouth is such a sweetheart on Twitter... I was going to pre-order her book but then Amazon had a $1.99 sale on some other books and I was like "oooh squirrel! I mean... book!" so I ended up spending the money I had saved for it.
ReplyDeleteHa ha not counting down or anything right? :) And that's good to know about Weymouth- I am looking forward to her book.
DeleteGreat list! Love and Luck sounds cute, and I really like the sound of The Light Between Worlds as well. Here is our Top Ten Tuesday
ReplyDeleteI like both of those!
DeleteYay for a new Liane Moriarty book. I hope this one is good! I’ve heard Welch’s books are really good too.
ReplyDeleteRight? And I hope so- and I really liked the Welch book I read!
DeleteI should add NUMBER ONE CHINESE RESTAURANT to my list. It looks like so much fun.
ReplyDeleteI read these lists and I start to panic. There are so many books out there that I haven't even heard of and now I want to look into them. But my TBR is already over 100 books long. If I just read them it would take me over a year to finish the list without adding new titles (which I do all the time.) Eek! My Fall TBR list
I think so too- I'm hoping it's really good. And I have the same problem- sometimes I wonder why I do Top Ten, after all do I NEED more books??
DeleteThey're all new to me.
ReplyDeleteThat's the thing about TTT- I find too many books!
DeleteI loved Marie Lu's Legend series and have no idea why I haven't read Warcross yet. It sounds awesome! Hopefully I can get to it soon.
ReplyDeleteI liked Warcross, but haven't read any of her other stuff yet!
DeleteI finally checked out Warcross from the library. Crossing my fingers I can get to it by the end of the month. Hope Wildcard lives up to all your expectations!
ReplyDeleteYay- hope you like!
DeleteOh they're all new to me there!
ReplyDeleteHi Melliane!!!
DeleteI've got Warcross on my November TBR for Sci-Fi Month, hopefully I'll be able to get Wildcard in that month too :)
ReplyDeleteOoh that would be a good time!
DeleteThe Light Between Worlds, Onyx & Ivory, and Broken Things are all on my eventual TBR! I hope you love all of these!
ReplyDeleteHa ha eventual TBR- I have one of those too :)
DeleteNone of these are on my list. Ha ha. 😁
ReplyDeleteWhat????
DeleteWildcard is high on my list as well. I finally read (listened to) a Marie Lu book, so now I need to keep up the momentum!
ReplyDeleteNicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction
Warcross was my first Marie Lu, but I really enjoyed it!
DeleteI have a few of these on my overall list of things to check out, or at least the first books in the series! I have the first Scalzi book, and I've been eyeing Onyx & Ivory for a week now.
ReplyDeleteI am really curious about the Scalzi book, it's the only thing by him I've read yet but I liked the Kiva character.
DeleteI forgot to put it on my list but I definitely want to read Nine Perfect Strangers. Wildcard made my list this week too.
ReplyDeleteNine Perfect strangers- I wasn't as enamored of her last book as I was BLL, so I'm really anxious to see how this one goes!
DeleteAhhhh so many good releases coming out this fall that it's hard to keep track. I'm interested in Wildcard, but I still need to read Warcross.
ReplyDeleteHaha, the cover of that Chinese Restaurant book is awesome. I hope you enjoy all these!
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
The Light Between Worlds looks really interesting. Hope you enjoy all these books and have a fabulous week. - Katie
ReplyDeleteWildcard is going to be awesome! Great list!
ReplyDeleteA lot of these are on my Fall TBR. A lot were also on my summer, spring, and winter TBRs though, so not a lot of confidence here hah. Wildcard I really do want to get to, and I *say* I'll get to Onyx and Ivory but... honestly unless it's a review copy (which it isn't) the chances are slim.
ReplyDeleteSo. Broken Things. I am so TORN about this damn book. Parts of it I thought were quite fabulous, and parts I flat out HATED which is just weird? I am at 63% of Light Between Worlds now, and... look, it's still not going great. And by "not great" I mean I am just as bored as I was last night. I AM finishing it tonight so I can get it over with so I'll keep you posted!
The ones I see on here that I'm desperately excited for are Wild Card and Consuming Fire. I am also so curious about The Light Between Worlds, it sounds so interesting and that's a "cover buy" book if I ever saw one!
ReplyDelete~Mogsy @ BiblioSanctum
I know absolutely nothing about Nine Perfect Strangers but I'm intrigued just looking at it! (Ditto for The Light Between Worlds.) Hope all of your TBR works out well for you!
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I might be tempted to add some to my TBR - especially Nine Perfect Strangers, although I want to read Big Little Lies first since I already have that book.
ReplyDeleteI'm super excited for Nine Perfect Strangers and Broken Things. I enjoyed The Cheerleaders, but not as much as her previous book. Hope you love them all!
ReplyDeleteOMG Lights between Words has a stunning cover! First time I see this book. By the way fantastic list Greg! Sophie @bewareofthereader
ReplyDeleteLove & Luck sounds so cute! I must read it!
ReplyDeleteMy TTT post!
You have so many books on here from authors I've been meaning to read. Like Marie Lu. I don't even know how I haven't picked up one of her books lol. I bought some of her books on my kindle years ago. And yet there they sit. I need to fix this!! Fabulous list and I hope you enjoy all of your books! ♥
ReplyDeleteJen @ Star-Crossed Book Blog
OOHH! have not seen Broken Things or Uncharted before but will have to check them out.
ReplyDeleteI'm curious to see what everyone thinks of Wildcard. I wasn't that impressed with the first one but who knows, the second might be better. :D
ReplyDeleteNine Perfect Strangers is on my TBR. I finally read Big Little Lies and I absolutely loved it so now I want to read all of her books!
