So here's a midweek round up of what I'm reading watching, etc. Plus Can't Wait Wednesday, hosted by Wishful endings. So sit back, raise a cuppa, and see what's new! And share what you're up to.
This week my Can't Wait pick is Polaris Rising. I saw this over at Tammy's blog Books, Bones and Buffy and then went and read an excerpt on the author site. Sounds awesome! Can't wait for this one.

My dad thinks I watched the Sinbad films on tv at the ti me when I was a kid but I don't really remember!
ReplyDeleteI probably saw snippets as a kid, when they played that stuff, but it's been ages...
DeleteOoh nice one! That's a new to me one! Hope you enjoy it once you get to read it!

Thanks Jessica!
DeleteHow could you go wrong with a space princess and an outlaw soldier? That sounds like the makings of something good.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't it? Plus I read like the first chapter or whatever and... it was good!!
DeleteI definitely recognize Polaris Rising, so it makes sense that it was from Tammy's blog! She always has good choices. I hope you enjoy it when you get the chance to read it!
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day, Greg. =)
Alyssa @ The Eater of Books!
I agree. Can't wait for it!!
DeleteOh my, she looks BADASS on the cover of Polaris Rising! I hope it's a brilliant read!
ReplyDeleteDoesn't she though- I NEED this book.
DeleteI really like the covers of both your can-wait book and the book you're reading. I'm going to take a look at them. I also need to watch your videos...especially Impulse since I haven't read anything about that.
ReplyDeleteImpulse is a pretty good show!
DeleteOooh! All of these sound like interesting books, especially Polaris Rising! Great picks!

DeleteThanks for the mention, Greg! Yep, I feel like Polaris Rising is going to be awesome😁 That cover of The Opposite of Here is really drawing me in. I hope you're enjoying it!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! Thanks for bringing this one to my attention. :) And I love the cover of Opposite of Here!
DeletePolaris Rising definitely sounds like it's worth a read! I read Tara Altebrando's The Leaving after I met the author at an event, and it was really interesting, if a little oddly set up and paced. I'll be interested to hear how The Opposite of Here is!
ReplyDeleteI am really curious how Opposite is going to turn out (I'm not very far in) and I haven't read any of her previous books, so she's a totally new author to me! I have high hopes!
DeleteI need to check out Polaris Rising!!
ReplyDeleteI need that book!!!!!
DeleteLove the cover of Polaris Rising! It sounds good. What do you think of The Opposite of Here so far? I have my eye on that one.
ReplyDeleteI've only just started it but I like it? And Polaris rising that cover!!

ReplyDeleteHa I know what you mean!
DeletePolaris Rising sounds amazing! I've gotta add it to my wishlist. Great pick! :)
ReplyDeleteI added it last week. :)
DeleteWow, both books look great. Tammy is HORRIBLE for my TBR.
ReplyDeleteRight- she adds a lotta books to me too.
DeleteHa ha! More Sinbad and bad special effects! I remember watching some of those Sinbad movies as a kid.
ReplyDeleteOh they don't get much better either :)
DeletePolaris Rising sounds pretty good. Haven't read a lot of space operas but may have to check this one out some time
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to hearing your thoughts on The Opposite of Here - I've been meaning to read it for quite awhile!
ReplyDeleteHave you? I discovered it only fairly recently but the premise totally grabbed me!

DeletePolaris Rising looks like it could be really good! And thanks for putting The Opposite of Here on my radar, I'm always looking for new horror/mystery/thrillers set aboard cruise ships!
ReplyDelete~Mogsy @ BiblioSanctum
Me too- something about cruises and murder lol.
DeleteSadly Movie That Suck is taking a hiatus this week- I just didn't get it done in time. Sorry! It will be coming up though!
ReplyDeleteThe Opposite of Here looks good. Can't wait to see what you think!
ReplyDeletePolaris Rising does sound like an incredible read! Looking forward to your next edition of Movies that Suck. I haven't even heard of The Golden Voyage of Sinbad, but I can imagine it would be one that might not be a blockbuster. lol
ReplyDeletePolaris Rising does sound good. Hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteOMG!! "Polaris Rising" has such a striking cover! And I LOVE the plot!! I've already added it to my Goodreads shelves!
ReplyDeleteAs always, you've included another GREAT song! I'm adding "Sunshine in Rain" to my YouTube playlist. I've already played it THREE times!! Lol.
Thanks for sharing, and for commenting on my own CWW post!! <3 : )
I love the covers for both of those books and the tagline of the second one is so true isn't it lol
ReplyDeleteI thought you didn't like the last Sinbad. Ha ha. 😁
ReplyDeleteFun picks, Greg! I always love seeing what you showcase. :)
ReplyDeleteTressa @ Wishful Endings
Polaris Rising sounds great! The first line of the blurb about the space princess and notorious outlaw gave me Leia and Han vibes. :)
ReplyDeletePolaris Rising has such a beautiful cover! I love a good sci-fi and that one sounds so promising :3
