Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week a new Top Ten list will be posted. Everyone is welcome to join. Link back to The Broke and the Bookish so everyone can check out other bloggers' lists. It's a fun way to get to know fellow bloggers.
This week is a Top Ten Throwback freebie- it can be ten older books, ten from the first year of blogging, whatevs. I decided to go with some favorites from my first few years of blogging.
These are some great books Greg! I loved Fangirl too, it's actually one of my all time favourites by Rowell. I still need to read Big Little Lies and Blackbird, so I'm glad to see that it made it to your favourite list!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jasprit! Fangirl is a fave and I hope you like Blackbird when you get it.
DeleteI liked Fangirl when I first read it but I don't think I loved it as much as everyone else did. I've been meaning to read Lauren Oliver's books for a really long time now but never got around to it.
ReplyDeleteI like the two Lauren Oliver books I've read, I should tackle more. And Fangirl is the only RR book I've read, I should read more of her too!
DeleteI'm quite intrigued by the first cover. I did read Fangirl a while ago
ReplyDeleteI love that cover. :)
DeleteFangirl!! That book destroyed me a little bit, but I LOVED it. I also really liked Get Even and plan to read the sequel soon. And PANIC. I need to read that because I love Lauren Oliver.
ReplyDeleteYeah I liked Fangirl, and I didn't know if I would. Panic is my jam!!
DeleteI've certainly seen these books a lot on your blog but I haven't read any of them. I do hope to get on with the Game of Thrones books this winter if I hit my reading goal on Goodreads early enough.
ReplyDeleteYay GoT, here's hoping you get your goal soon. :)
DeleteOoh nice! I loved Get Even! It was a fun little duology!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
I thought so too, Get Even was fun.
DeleteFangirl, Panic and Big Little Lies are all ones I really enjoyed!! Great list!
ReplyDeleteThose are three of my favorites.
DeleteNow that's an eccletic mix - love it!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Brona!
DeleteHi! I still have to read Fangirl. A friend just gave me Big Little Lies. Some have told me to skip the book and just watch the TV version. Others have told me the opposite. lol. Great list! It's fun to look back :)
ReplyDeleteMy TTT
Leslie
They're both great, the TV version of Big Little Lies is fab but nothing beats the book, at least for me.
DeleteGreat list! I may have to check Tides out - I love selkies. =)
ReplyDeleteTides was pretty good!!
DeleteGreat list! I loved Big Little Lies, and my sister finally read it and is obsessed with it! I can't believe it's been so long since A Dance with Dragons came out.
ReplyDeleteI know- 2011 right?? Crazeee. Big Little Lies is awesome.
DeleteI can't believe I haven't read any of these, although I have a copy of Fangirl that I MUST get to one of these days😀
ReplyDeleteFangirl is just a good book!
DeleteOh, I forgot all about Blackbird. Now I need to go find my copy...or maybe it's on my Kindle. Who the heck knows? I've not read any of these but did just buy a copy of Big Little Lies after seeing you mention it so much!
ReplyDeleteHa ha enjoy Big Little Lies. I loved it! And Blackbird was good, but not everyone loved it for the 2nd person narration. didn't bother me though.
DeleteThe Cats of Tanglewood Forest looks so cute with that cover. :-) I hope to read several of these. I keep going back and forth about Fangirl, but likely I'll give it a try. And I really want to read Big Little Lies. Great List, Greg! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteBig Little Lies is awesome! And so is Cats. Fangirl is pretty good. :)
DeleteBig Little Lies and Fangirl are both on my TBR! Cannot wait to get to them.
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday.
Yay, hope you enjoy both!
DeleteI still have Famgirl by Rainbow Rowell on my reading wishlist!
ReplyDeleteHere's a link to my TTT post this week:

It's pretty good!
Deleteoh wow this list looks so good! Especially Big Little Lies! I loved that one!
ReplyDeleteInteresting list. I loved Fan Girl as well.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed that one!
DeleteI love how eclectic your list is.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jenny!
DeleteI STILL haven't read Fangirl! I have it though.
ReplyDeleteFor What It's Worth
I hope you get to it at some point :)
DeleteFangirl is definitely one of my faves as well :) I'm hoping to read Big Little Lies soon (and watch the show soon after)
ReplyDeleteBig Little Lies is great (show and book). And yeah Fangirl. :)
DeleteI do wanna read fangirl
ReplyDeleteYou must!!!
DeleteI am a RR fan, and I thought Fangirl was great, though I am a bigger fan of her adult books. I thought Panic was great too. I feel like it's sort of underrated. And I think Liane Moriarty is brilliant! All her books just suck me in as she weaves these stories and then puts some twist in there to leave me slack jawed.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any other RR but I want to. Maybe Attachments? I agree about Panic. I know not everyone was crazy about it but I thought it kinda showed the desperation of teens in a small town. And Big Little Lies floored me.
DeleteI've only read one of these but great list. I had to look up The Cats of Tanglewood Forest, it drew me in.
ReplyDeleteOh I hope you read it!
DeleteLOVE Fangirl and Big Little Lies. I need to get on The Blue. I recently bought it in pb, but haven't gotten to it yet. Great list!
ReplyDeleteAwesome list!!
ReplyDeleteI've heard good things about Fangirl-- it's a book I need to get around to reading someday.
ReplyDeleteAhhh, look at all the books I have not read! I actually did read Panic, but still. I almost put Fangirl on my list (as a book that everyone else has read but I have not hah) and I must read it soon- I have heard great things. Same with most of your list, actually. I have Fangirl and Vitro, and I *think* Blackbird and Get Even. I want to read Big Little Lies too, it looks so good! Great picks this week!
ReplyDeleteI went with my early years of reviewing too, so fascinating how our tastes evolve over time! I remember that was also around the time I read A Dance with Dragons - I had a book hangover after it for months, lol :D
ReplyDelete~Mogsy @ BiblioSanctum
I was absolutely surprised by how much I enjoyed Fangirl and more from Rowell. :) Great list!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed Fangirl, it was really good. Nice list!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by My Top 10 Tuesday
I've enjoyed so many of these books. You read a lot of fab books in your first few years. :-)
ReplyDeleteI knew you'd choose ADWD !
ReplyDeleteI really like the covers of Big Little Lies and Get Even. It makes me want to read them ~
Not a big surprise right? :)
DeleteI love those covers too. And both are great- Get Even is a lot of fun!
I had forgotton all about Blackbird! I have it on my TBR but had completely forgotten about it. It looks great! I'm hoping to read Big Little Lies next year and Eight Hundred Grapes just looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteBlackbird's pretty good although not everyone liked the 2nd person. Big Little Lies is awesome, and I think you'd really like Eight Hundred grapes.
DeleteFangirl, yesssss. Love, love that book!! Sadly I didn't really like Panic that much. It was one of my highly anticipated books that year but it feel pretty flat for me. I still have my ARC of Get Even on my shelf but looking back, I don't think I ever got to it. I'll have to fix that!
ReplyDeleteFangirl is amazing, and honestly I kinda want to read it again- it's been a couple years. Cath and Levi- and even Regan- were great. Panic I know got mixed reviews, not everyone loved it, I think I just liked the idea of the game and the whole small town desperation.
DeleteGet Even is fun!
I haven't read any of these but Tides and the Cats of Tanglewood Forest look interesting.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT: http://books.thetechchef.net/top-ten-tuesday-32/
Both books are really good!
Delete*cries a little* I haven't read any of these listed despite the fact most if not all have popped into my feed before! I've heard mixed reviews about Panic, though...
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Novelistic Narration!
Lots of great books here. I still need to go back and read Eight Hundred Grapes since everyone says it's better than Hello Sunshine, which I was a little meh about.
ReplyDeleteI highly recommend Eight Hundred . In fact I should re- read it, especially if Hello Sunshine is kinda lackluster.
DeleteFun to see what you were reading back when. Eight Hundred Grapes is still on my list to read.
ReplyDeleteGet Even has been on and off my TBR for a while. I ought to check it out. Great list!
ReplyDeleteOooh, good topic! I feel like I read really different books when I first started blogging (and just before then, too) than I do now, so a list like this would be interesting. Still haven't read Fangirl, but I really need to!
ReplyDeleteI still haven't read any of those but I did manage to binge-watch Big Little Lies and it was soooo good and probably one of the reasons I never get as much reading done as I should!
ReplyDeleteThe Cats of Tanglewood Forest. Oh my gosh. I might need that! lol
ReplyDeleteI read Siren a long time ago, and remember enjoying it. Big Little Lies was awesome! :)
ReplyDeleteThough she's really popular, I've yet to read a Rainbow Rowell book. I did own one or two of her titles once upon a time, but to be honest, I'm not sure if I still have them. Oh, and I remember seeing LOTS Of buzz about Panic (another one I haven't read) when it was new. Since I'm sort of DNF-ing Before I Fall (at least for now), I don't know that I'll read more by Lauren anytime soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for visiting Finding Wonderland, Greg.
I tried getting an ARC of Tides every whichway. Ha ha. I think it was my first year of blogging. I was the only person who replied on her Twitter and her Tumblr. I kept hinting about really wanting to read the book, but she never offered one. I was chopped liver. Maybe I should read it someday.:D
ReplyDeleteThe two that really catch my eye here are Siren and Don't Get Mad Get Even.
ReplyDeleteLynn :D
An interesting list of books. The Cats of Tanglewood Forest looks really interesting.
