Escapism of the bookish sort.
I wouldn't want to mess with those guys and their claws...
I wouldn't either...
That is intense!
It is a pretty intense cover!
Reminds me of Thundercats for some reason LOL!
I LOVE the artwork!!
It's by Neal Adams- I liked his stuff.
I never quite envisioned Tarzan like that! :D
I know, not exactly Johnny Weissmuller or the other versions right??
Wow! When was that edition published?
I'm thinking late 70's?
A lot of action there! Tarzan must be pretty tough to take on all of them! :)
It is a pretty action- packed cover!
I just got a pitch for - THE LONG PAST & OTHER STORIESby Ginn Hale and the cover reminds me of this style lolFor What It's Worth
Oh yeah I took a look- I can see a certain similarity!!
Oh I like the closer look; we can see more
Definitely easier to see!
Yikes, that's an intense scene!
It is, I love it!! :)
I wonder what year this cover is from.
I'm thinking mid-late 70's?
It reminds me of that scene in The Hunger Games when the mutt dogs with the tributes' features claw at Katniss, Peeta, and Cato. Obviously, Tarzan is Cato in this case. (Sorry, Peeta, but Katniss is probably closer to Tarzan, tbh.)
Pretty amazing art, actually. I like it.
Lol, very old school
Tarzan is lookin' fierce! LOL
That made me shiver! Looks like it will be an intense read if we go by the cover.
Well, if I was ever placed into that scene, I would be dead in about 10 seconds flat! Great cover pick Greg!
I use to be a huge fan of tarzan so I love love love this cover!
Love how action driven this cover is. Can't say I've ever pictured Tarzan this way but love the intensity.
Woah! This cover is INTENSE!
