Sunday Post

State of Art did well at their competition. They're the Michigan State color guard team. Here's something they posted on IG.

Also this week I'm showcasing Hu's in the Kitchen. These guys are coming here in July.
And... Movies That Suck for the week is... Mad Max Fury Road

This week's discussion post is Cover Love - Hot Covers

Here is this week's lyric.
I'm all out of hope
One more bad dream could bring a fall

Here is the lyric f/ last week and the answer

Feeling down and dirty feeling kinda mean
I've been from one to another extreme

PULP COVER OF THE WEEK:

  1. Kill Me in Tokyo looks like some kind of a John Wick movie.

  2. The video looks like my Neighbours trying to cook up a dinner. The poster is so good

  3. Oh, some fun stuff this post. I like the that band for next weeks lyrics too. Great about the color guard. I hope you have been well. We've had snow, and is only lingering just a bit. The wind has been cold, however. My woes with insurance. It can cost you to think outside the box, you know..but I got what I needed. And hopefully, I am on the right track..even if it feels like I'm on a slow boat to China..guess, I better enjoy a few Asian dramas along the way..while I wait. I'm not much for almond milk in my coffee, though. Wishing you lots of good times this weekend and beyond. Keep Writing!

  4. I love the behind the scenes look at the color guard. They really work hard! I loved the Mad Max movies. I don't, Greg. I am struggling with the "suck" title being slapped on some of these.

  11. I wish Color Guard had been more like that when I was in high school, I think I would have really enjoyed it. I think the only Mad Max movie I ever watched was Thunderdome, lol. HOpe you have a good week!

  13. The pulp cover looks good. It takes me a few days to get through a film these days with an 8 month old and 5 year old. I was saying to my partner today that there just aren't films around that interest me 🤷🏻‍♀️

    Have a great week ahead!

Ugh, I didn't recognise those lyrics, though I'm very familiar with the song...it was a hit here back then.

  22. I hope you have a great week, Greg - I LOVE Kill Me In Tokyo. I'm always fascinated to note that while the girl is always in various states of undress, the men are nearly always wearing suits:)).

  25. Way to go State of the Art! I enjoy watching the Color Guard perform. I know which song this week's lyrics come from. :-) It's been a while since I last heard the song. I hope you are having a great week, Greg! I feel like there's too much work and not enough play in my life this week.
