So... thinking back on many, many songs that I've loved over the years. I think most songs are always more sexy than we first realize. haha. Especially, when I was younger! I can't believe some of the songs I sang to. haha

ReplyDeleteBaby's on Fire (Of course, Brian Eno's version is my favorite)....what a theme you've got going. It is intriguing how much these bands could carry on the airwaves at the time..of course those heavy duty riffs with the electric guitar smoothed everthing out and it was never that big of a deal what some of those lyrics might have been about. Yes, a soundtrack of highschool...of days gone by. These were songs that took us places with friends and rivals.

DeleteHungry like the Wolf will always be special to me. I remember it when MTV first started..and somehow I tuned in to that channel on my TV back in the day while still at the dorm. Not sure how I did it, but man..were the singer sexy and well, even then I thought maybe he'd rather spend the night with a pack of his buds instead of some fashion model..but who knows...(✿◡‿◡)

I don't really pay attention to lyrics. I pay more attention to the beat and melody. However, one of my guilty pleasure songs in Bad Touch by The Bloodhound Gang. There's no missing those lyrics but I love the beat, lol.
