So the chaos continues.

The HoHoHo readathon started on Nov. 19th and you can find my post here. How is everyone? I have lots of videos this time- I know! Have you heard of the raccoon man from Canada? He's been going viral lately- you can see the one here that caught my eye. Along with raccoon guy I have like 4 walking tour videos- they're all good so if you like them I suggest saving them maybe for when you're bored.

It's Friday and that means pizza night. Hope everyone has a great weekend and a great week ahead!

PULP COVER OF THE WEEK:

BOOKISH LINKS

This is a short tour- about 5 mins or so. Red light district? Yikes! And check out Godzilla at 3:10! Also, Christmas lights at the end.

This one is amazing and is a favorite area (I've seen it in previous videos- no I haven't been there!). Beautiful view at 1:28.

  2. That’s a lot of raccoons
    Enjoy your pizza!

Wishing you a great reading week

  3. I read Poison in Jest! My memory might be fuzzy, but I don't think it involved a scantily clad lady πŸ˜‚. Actually, I LOVE John Dickson Carr (though that one isn't one of his best). Have you ever read his books? He's famous for his locked room mysteries.

  4. I love all those raccoons, but boy are they fat, lol. I think it's all the hot dogs...

  7. Enjoy your weekend! (And I think Raccoon Guy is a little bit crazy to surround himself with all those furry little guys.)

  8. I hadn't heard of the Raccoon Guy videos before. I can see why the videos are popular. :-) I hope you have a great weekend, Greg.

  9. I wish we had raccoons in Scotland, I know people call them garbage bears but they look so cute!

    Hope you are recovering well!

  10. Those are the fattest raccoons I have ever seen. I love them!

  11. You have had some adventures with the raccoons! They look very healthy.

  12. You would think the raccoon guy would be afraid of rabies. Raccoons make up 40% of all reported rabies cases. 😯 I'd throw the food to them. πŸ˜› They are fun to watch, though. πŸ€—

    And the chaos continues...

Have a wonderful new week. 🌞

  17. Greg, I really hope you are enjoying taking part in the HoHoHo Readathon and there some great videos. I am loving those tubby, super cute raccoons - They're reminding me of Oy from Stephen King's Dark Tower books. 🦝 Take care and happy reading! πŸ˜ƒ

  19. THe HoHoHo Readathon seems like a great way to transition into the holiday season. I really need to work harder at finding more readathons over the year. And there’s a racoon man? I am definitely watching that video.

  21. Thank you for all the videos:). Raccoon Man is either very confident or a tad crazy. And I'm a bit shocked at all the road traffic allowed along the beach - really?? There wasn't a single person just walking along by the strandline, because of the procession of cars and bikes, which seems really sad to me. But I suppose it's just different cultural expectations. As ever, many thanks for the wonderful pictures and I hope the coming week is a good one for you, Greg.

Enjoy your week and Happy Thanksgiving!

  46. My husband's cousin feeds raccoons like cats - she leaves bowls of food out for them and about half a dozen come up on her back deck every night. They're cute but it always creeped me out a bit! That is crazy that he's essentially hand feeding them but it is fun to watch! Hope you're having a great week and have a lovely Thanksgiving!

  47. That raccoon man freaks me out so bad!! I love animals but I just keep thinking rabies! Lol.

    Have a good thanksgiving Greg.
