Manhattan has many secrets. Some are older than the city itself... 😳

This week is Top Ten Books I Enjoyed But Rarely Talk About.
I mean, I have talked about this series quite a bit (especially when it appeared) but I haven't talked about it LATELY.
I don't talk about this one a lot (or the first book) but I really liked this prehistoric setting and would like to read more of her stuff.
I really liked this one. I mean, clones!
This was pretty good.
I loved the Slated series.
Probably my favorite Star Wars book.
I'm due for a re- read of this.
This one was awesome.
My first Lisa Jewell book and my favorite.
Wow.
There are so many good books I mention all the time but many more that are good but I rarely mention. Weird, huh? My TTT list
ReplyDeleteI've heard a lot about Lisa Jewell books, but haven't really read much about their plots. Glad you enjoyed these!
ReplyDeleteHaha I've been talking about Murderbot a lot lately as I am doing the murderbot readalong in preperation of the full novel at the moment!
ReplyDeleteI tend to talk all the time about the books I enjoy, especially on my blog!
ReplyDeleteOh my, I am liking the Obsidian and Stars cover!
ReplyDeleteThere are one or two I didn't know about
ReplyDeleteI wasn't a massive fan of either Slated or Radio Silence, but I'm glad you enjoyed them!

I haven't heard of that Lauren Oliver book, but I will have to check it out!
ReplyDeleteWhy is Heir to the Jedi your favourite Star Wars book?
ReplyDeleteMy TTT .
I haven’t read Replica yet, which is shocking because I live Lauren Oliver books! I have read pretty much everything else from her. I think I need to give it a go soon.
ReplyDeleteI've had The Girls in the Garden on my TBR forever, and you're making me want to read it even more! That Martha Wells series is very beloved. I'm going to have to check it out.
ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday!
Love that tagline! Anything NYC-related is good for me!
ReplyDeleteI've seen Slated on a few lists this week!! It sounds really good. I also, want to read Radio Silence and that Lisa Jewell book!
ReplyDeleteI need to try Lisa Jewell, so I'm glad you mentioned her in your post. Sort of a reminder to read one of her books😁
ReplyDeleteAs much as I love Lisa Jewell I still haven't read The Girls in the Garden. I need to get to that one soon.
ReplyDeleteI want to read Slated! I enjoyed the author's other books.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT post!
Weingarten doesn't get enough attention in general. Her books are great
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I've heard really good things about Radio Silence.
ReplyDeleteI REALLY need to read Radio Silence!! This is a great list!
ReplyDeleteLove the cover to The Immortals. It's weird how there are some books we just can't stop talking about, and then other books that we really liked that sometimes we forget to mention.
ReplyDeleteI loved Lost Girls, too. That was a great read. I'll have to check out the other books on your list. :)
ReplyDeleteI've enjoyed a couple of Jewell's books, but I haven't read THE GIRLS IN THE GARDEN. It's on my TBR list. Hopefully, I'll get to it sooner rather than later.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
I'm so happy to see Radio Silence on this list! it's one of my all-time favorite books :)

I bought Replica from the dollar store like a year ago and still haven't read it. I guess I should!
ReplyDeleteOooh, this reminds me that I still haven't read The Girls in the Garden. I've enjoyed her newer books but really need to go back and read this one.
ReplyDeleteI feel like the only secrets Manhattan has at the moment is like "where'd we stash the ventilators?" but alas. (Too soon? Too soon.) I feel like we'll all be talking about Murderbot plenty when the new book comes out next month. Crazy, it feels like ages ago when it was announced and here we are. I want to read Obsidian and Stars maybe. The author's most recent book was really good, you should give that one a go. I realize that I never read the sequel to Replica. Oops?
ReplyDeleteKevin Hearne has written a Star Wars book?! I need it!
ReplyDeleteI really want to read All Systems Red and Radio Silence!

I had enever seen that cover of Radio Silence Greg! I loved that book so much!
ReplyDeleteHow have I only read one of these books on your list? I read Slated so long ago I hardly remember what happened and it went the way of so many series for me and I never finished for no apparent reason. There are a couple of books which are on my TBR though, like All Systems Red.
ReplyDeleteLisa Jewell is an author I see everywhere but that one just kind of disappeared right after it came out. I forgot I hadn't read it! It's funny how some books just don't seem to catch on.
ReplyDeleteI have the Murderbot books 1-3 now from grabbing them on ebook sale. Hopefully by next year I'll have them all. Has she said how many there will be? 🚀
ReplyDeleteAs I was reorganizing my library, I just moved my unread copy of Replica. I really need to read that! And the Julie Eshbaugh series sounded good, but I never got around to that either. Glad to hear both are worth a read!
ReplyDeleteThe only one I've read is Replica and I remember really enjoying it (and also the way its written) but I also don't remember anything about it now 😂 Did you read the sequel? Will check out the Lisa Jewell book--it looks really good! Great list!
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I love Murderbot and now I really want to read the third book!
