Dolly had less morals than an alley cat
Aww that seems harsh.

This week is Characters I'd Follow on Social Media but I'm not feeling that so this week is a rogue topic. How about... some of my favorite graphic novel/ comics covers? Sure.
So apparently Bikini Atoll is a slasher comic featuring bimbos in bikinis being devoured by crazy ass sharks and degenerate mutants. Their description not mine lol!
Great list! That Girls cover is really nice.
ReplyDeleteI love that cover for Bikini Atoll! You know how I love my shark covers!
ReplyDeleteScooby Apocalypse looks AWESOME. I love Scooby Doo!!
ReplyDeleteYou know what the weird thing is? I would totally follow the social media of those characters in those alternate Scooby covers. I just cannot get over how they're nothing like the normal Scooby I grew up with and I love it!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I have to say this: You're right that tagline was way harsh and I'm on #TeamDolly so I hope she kicks some ass in that book!
ReplyDeleteI have never imagined the Scooby gang looking like that. Wow!
ReplyDeleteWow, that *is* harsh. Maybe Dolly was just a modern woman exploring her sexuality in a healthy, safe manner. LOL That cover of Namibia is creepy.
ReplyDeleteGreat list! That's definitely a different take on Scooby.
ReplyDeleteThese are some pretty cool covers. They have such vibrant colours on them.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT .
Yikes, poor Dolly!
ReplyDeleteWow! Great covers for these! I love all the artwork!
ReplyDeleteOh Scooby looks so fun!!!
ReplyDeleteHaha oh man, I really love these tag lines you share each week, Greg 😂 They never fail to crack me up! Poor Dolly! Also, loving so many of these graphic novel covers. How did I not know about the Scooby Apocalypse?! That first cover is so great! Girls has such a freaking weird storyline. I finished reading it and I'm not even sure what the point was? Lol. But I loved Alex + Ada! It's so good and one of my faves! Great rogue topic ;)
ReplyDeleteSo Snoopy and TinTin always get my vote! I need to crack into the Scooby Apocalypse series!
ReplyDeleteI love your switch up, Greg! And always good to see some of my favorite graphic novel covers😁
ReplyDeleteInteresting topic! I've never seen a Scooby cover like that before! Here is our Top Ten Tuesday
ReplyDeleteThat tagline is hilariously harsh--what a way to phrase that! I love your rogue topic choice, these covers are so awesome. Golden City and the Scooby Apocalypse one both really stand out to me.
ReplyDeleteI just love all these covers!
ReplyDeleteBikini Atoll is too funny.
ReplyDeleteVery harsh lol
ReplyDeleteI do like the Alex + Ada artwork. It's super simple and clean yet it expresses their personalities well.
Karen @ For What It's worth
Some of these are on my TBR. I do need to get some Red Sonja comics.
ReplyDeleteHere is my TTT: https://fangirlpixieblog.com/2020/02/25/top-ten-tuesday-8/
You always find the best covers. I bet your graphic novel/comic collection is huge. Great post!
ReplyDeleteOMG, another hilarious tagline! You have less morals than an alley cat may be my new favorite insult :)
ReplyDeleteThose Scooby Doo novels look super fun and different! Also, gotta love Tintin, I loved those comics when I was a kid and should really rediscover them because it's been too long. Also gotta try Alex + Ada.
I don't read a lot of graphic novels but some of these look so cool!! :)
ReplyDeleteMy TTT!
Great covers Greg! I especially like the Red Sonja ones, and the One Kiss Before Dying cover! LOL
ReplyDeleteLindy@ A Bookish Escape
Intrigued by Namibia. Will look into that one!
ReplyDeleteI feel all the vintage vibes here Greg ;-))))
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure that tagline would make me want to read the book, but it certainly made me laugh. That's probably not the effect the author was going for!
ReplyDeleteI need to read Alex + Ada. I think Hoopla has it. 👍✨
ReplyDeleteI love Tintin! 💟
Scooby Apocalypse, and Golden City are on my look-for list. I hope I can find them somewhere for a reasonable price. Thanks for sharing your list and reminding me about these. 🙌🙌🙌
I love the Scooby Apocalypse covers. I really need to get back to that series. What I've read so far is really good. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a harsh tagline! I do love these covers. Great list, Greg!
ReplyDeleteLove the Scooby cover!
ReplyDeleteTinTin is awesome!
ReplyDeleteYes! TinTin! Great!
ReplyDelete"Dolly had less morals than an alley cat".
ReplyDeleteSure those authors (or editors?) knew how to be misogynistic LOL.
I love the first cover, and the Girls one looks so eerie.
Scooby Apocalypse?! I'm going to have to look that up!
ReplyDeleteI am so confused about the tagline and the morals of alley cats
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite comics is Saga!
ReplyDeleteSnowy and Tintin -woohoo.
ReplyDeleteLynn :D
