This week is Top Ten Bookish Settings I'd Like To Visit. *rubs hands together* This one is kinda fun. Because all the places.
Winterfell.
Rivendell. There are a lot of places to visit in Middle-earth but this would top my list. Here's one of my favorite images of Rivendell.
Mt. Weather! I mean it's The 100 right? HAS to be on my list. Every place is kinda screwed up though, because you know- apocalypse. But Mt. Weather is nice.
Riverdale
Seriously- anywhere in this universe? Just hanging on the Wayfarer?
Aww, the Hundred Acre Woods! Plenty of childhood memories that brings back.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'm reading Warcross now and WOW. It's crazy good! Not sure I'd manage to survive, but it IS an amazing story. :)
I know! I'd go there just to hang out.
DeleteOOoh nice picks!! Some new to me places here! I know Warcross and the Hundred Acre Woods of course!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
I would take both of those. :)
DeletePeanuts land and Hundred Acre Woods for sure <3
ReplyDeleteNo thanks to Martin's world, but Tolkien, sure
ReplyDeleteWonderful list!! I also picked a place from Lord of the Rings :) I'll have my post up later today! I had an honest review that had to take priority this morning.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you came up with. :)
DeleteIt's now live! :) My Top 10 Tuesday
DeleteMan I am so with you on The Hundred Acre Woods. That was my FAVE story growing up and I'm still a huge Pooh fan at heart. Also sign me up for Peanuts world. Riverdale would be interesting but after binge watching the first 6 episodes of Season 2 the past few days - not too safe. Wonder who Black Hood is?
ReplyDeleteI love the Hundred acre Woods. And Riverdale is getting very dark isn't it? Do you have a theory who the Hood is?
DeleteWonderful list! I'd definitely visit Peanuts Land and The Hundred Aker Wood. Here is my Top Ten Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteyes to Got and yes to LWTSAP!!! I love those worlds so much!
ReplyDeleteHa ha I would LOVE to go there!!!
DeleteFabulous post, really. I love the small, dark towns like Riverdale, and all of my town necessities have been satisfied recently with all of the shows that are coming out! Stranger Things is yet another example. Winnie the Pooh was such a big part of my childhood and I'm getting so emotional thinking about it.
ReplyDeleteI loved your list!
My TTT: https://bookslikewolves.wixsite.com/blog/single-post/2017/12/05/Top-Ten-Bookish-Settings-I%E2%80%99d-Love-To-Visit
Thank you! I would love the Hundred Aker Wood. And I agree about Riverdale!!
DeleteYou are so brave!!! I wouldn't survive a moment in the Game of Thrones world lol!! Aww, hundred acre wood!! So adorable!! I think that one is more my speed haha!!
ReplyDeleteMy Top 10 Bookish places to Visit
I don't think any of us would. :)
DeleteHonestly you couldn't get me near Westeros if you even paid me, haha. I'd love to go to Wayfarer and go through the universe on it.
ReplyDeletePeanuts Land would be interesting for sure!
ReplyDeleteSo, I don't know if I'd pick any of your choices. :-) Although I would like to meet Snoopy. Fun list!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my TTT
I'm not sure I would survive all those places, but with Tigger by my side, I could try! :D
ReplyDeleteYes! We both had Warcross. I'm with you. I would love to play the game, though Animal Crossing is more my speed. The Hundred Acre Wood was on my preliminary list. I always found it a fantastical place.
ReplyDeleteSome very interesting worlds you'd like to venture to!
ReplyDeleteI love your list!!! Peanuts Land would be a blast - especially if we could see Snoopy go all Red Barron. Also would love to see the Hundred Acre Wood and Riverdale. :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to spend some time in the PEanuts world- as a kid of course! Hundred Acre Wood too!!
DeleteYES to hanging out on the Wayfarer! Or really anywhere in that world. I also want to be hanging out with that crew!
ReplyDeleteYup I would sign on board. :)
DeleteI am so glad that I am not the only one who wants to live in a world of Praimfaya ;) Of course I adore the idea of exploring Mt Weather. And the bunker! Also definitely agree with The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet! I was so very intrigued by their whole world. I am on the fence about Riverdale though. Because 1) Who even knows where it is? 2) People tend to get murdered there. 3) Every adult is a moron and frankly, I don't know if my brain could handle having to live near them hah. Fabulous list!!
ReplyDeleteYou know I could get used to Mt Weather. You know minus the blood experiments. But if you're gonna be there anyways... and Long Way especially, I just want to be part of that crew.
DeleteWesteros would be fun . . . until you got decapitated. Great list!
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
The lounge area on the Wayfarer did sound so cool! I'd love to hang out there.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT
The Hundred acre woods is such a good one! and rivendale would be such an amazing place to visit! I would fall in love with the beautiful elves! lol
ReplyDeleteBoth of those! In different ways of course... and to hang with the elves!!!!
DeleteThis is a great list. I forgot about Warcross! I almost put Westeros but I'm afraid to eat or drink anything there lol.
ReplyDeleteHundred Acre Wood is such a fab one :-) Riverdale intrigues me, but I think I'd be too scared.
ReplyDeleteI'm not much of an outdoors person, but I would go to the Hundred Acre Wood in a heartbeat :)
ReplyDeleteSigh, I wish so many of these places were real. As a kid I always daydreamed about living in the Star Wars universe. Coruscant would be a blast to visit :)
ReplyDelete~Mogsy @ BiblioSanctum
Definitely agree with LoTR. Rivendell and the Shire would be awesome. I wouldn't mind visiting GoT universe but not for very long. Too dangerous!!!!
ReplyDeleteRivendell almost made my list as well (that picture is gorgeous), but in the end I chose the Shire. Winterfell sounds nice too, though I probably couldn't handle the cold that well :)
ReplyDeleteSo many literary worlds are awesome to read about but too traumatic to live in lol I could definitely handle Hundred Acre Woods though.
ReplyDeleteFor What It's Worth
I kinda want to go to Winterfell but it depends on when in the timeline... and yes Riverdale, I'd totally go there!
ReplyDeleteGreat list, especially Winterfell, Mt Weather, and Coruscant!
ReplyDeleteWinterfell for sure! I think I'd be too scared to venture much further than that into Westeros, LOL!
ReplyDeleteYes to Winterfell and Rivendell...
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I couldn't decide on one place in Middle Earth so picked it as a whole. It'd be an amazing place to go backpacking round, minus the orcs of course.
ReplyDeleteSooooo many choices. Goodness that would be fun :)
ReplyDeleteThe Wayfarer would have been on the top of my list! I would be hanging with Dr. Chef. 💜
ReplyDeleteRiverdale would be quite interesting to visit! Lol.
ReplyDeleteyup let's is snow! it's the north east after all [winks] AND it does look nice and festive :) I so want to visit the lakes one day!
ReplyDeleteMy husband LOVES TURN!
OMG you wrote another installment of On The Run! I NEED TO CATCH UP WITH IT! Glad you continue to recover and things are returning to normal! :)
