This week is Top Ten Books I'm thankful for. An interesting topic- kinda thought provoking- this could go so many ways, there are so many. So this is just ten that come to mind- I'm sure I'll think of others after I'm done. :)
I could probably put the whole series in here, but I'm going with the most recent book because it may be my favorite. So many cool things happening.
.
I love the Tintin's.
Ooo, lots of books for me to explore! Thanks for sharing your list of books this week.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT post for the week is as follows:

Thanks!
DeleteI can't remember which Tintins I read when I was a kid...I do recognise the cover.
ReplyDeleteI've read a bunch, but not all.
DeleteOoh nice! Haven't read any of these to be honest. Though a lot of them look familiar!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
You've probably seen some of them here as I tend to use some favorites a lot!
DeleteI am a stedfast Moriarty fan. She consistently delights me with her wonderful storytelling, and I am also thankful to have picked up that first book by her. Rainbow Rowell is a favorite of mine. I rank her adult novels above her YA/NA books, but still love them all. I have seen so many glowing review for Chambers' book. I really need to check it out. Great list and I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteI agree, Moriarty is awesome. Big Little Lies really affected me as I enjoyed the characters and story so much. Rainbow is an author I need to read more of!
DeleteLove how varied your list is, Greg. Wasn't surprised to see a GRR Martin or Tolkien books listed. :) I enjoy Rainbow Rowell but Fangirl wasn't my favorite. That would be a toss-up between Eleanor & Park and Attachments. Enjoyed your list!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tanya. It would be a funny list if I neglected MArtin or Tolkien. :) And both of those books- Eleanor & Park and Attachments- are on my list to read!

ReplyDeleteLord of the Rings is such a good story. Kudos on including it in your list.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thanks!
Wonderful list!! There are are few on here that I still need to get to!
ReplyDeleteGreat list! Lord of the Rings is a great choice, it's brought so many fans together.

DeleteI’ve been very curious about Long Way to an Angry Planet. Since I love so many of your other titles, I think I will check it out. Thank you for your list today!

Thanks Deb! I do think Long Way is a pretty special book.
DeleteGame of Thrones (and the rest of the series) would be high on my list, as well. I picked it up on a whim several years ago and fell in love.
ReplyDelete:)
DeleteYes to Fangirl and Big Little Lies!!! I still need to get to The Long Way. Great list!
ReplyDeleteThose are two of my favorites :)
DeleteHi! Tintin :) Great choices. I need to get to Fangirl!

Tintin is the best!!1
DeleteI have really got to get around to reading Fangirl! And I like Game of Thrones the tv series, but don't know that I'll ever read the books. Great list!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my Top 10
I love Big Little Lies! Such a good book. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe Long Way to a Small Angry Planet is such a great book!
ReplyDeleteOne day I will try Martin! I know I will love the books, I just need to do it and get to them. ;)
ReplyDeleteI still haven't picked up a copy of A Long Way. I should remedy that!
ReplyDeleteFangirl! <3 And Lord of the Rings, I'm so thankful for that one as well!
ReplyDeleteSomeday I'll read The Game of Thrones books. And I'm delighted to see the Liane Moriarty book on there, I just love all her books.
ReplyDeleteI've only read All Systems Red and I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next installment.
ReplyDeleteFor What It's Worth
I am too!!
DeleteHeard of this a lot on my TBR, one day! Great list
ReplyDeleteI knew I'd see GoT on here and was pretty sure The Small Way to a Small Angry Planet would be here too. Great lost and quite a few of these are on my TBR. Hope your recovery is going super!
ReplyDeleteThank you Barb!! Yeah I had to include those...
DeleteI am coming along :)
I don't think I'd be able to choose 1 book from ASoIaF; I'd have to go with the whole series, LOL.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry this is so belated, but it's so great to see you back, Greg! Hope you're doing well! :-)
Thank you Lee! Hope you're well. And I agree- I almost picked the whole series too.
DeleteOooh great picks! I have only read one of these so far (Long Way to a Small Angry Planet) but I want to read so many of them. I keep waiting for All Systems Red to be a Kindle Daily Deal, I feel like it will be. And I bought the Shark book! And Big Little Lies and Fangirl I need to read too. So many books, so little time. And you know my feelings on George needing to get his shit together before I read his books- but you keep tempting me by how much you love them!
ReplyDeleteAll systems Red is good, nice and short- hope you get a chance to read it soon! And yay for the Shark book! Hope you don't hate it. :) Big Little Lies is so fun. The dialogue sparkles. And yes George *sigh*
DeleteGreat choices. I loved FanGirl. Hope you and your family have a great Thanksgiving. Sending good thoughts for continued recovery!
ReplyDeleteI did too. And thank you- have a great Thanksgiving yourself!!!
DeleteDefinitely some great books to be thankful for. Especially series like ASoIaF that you can savor for a long time, or books like Tintin you can return to again and again :)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Thanksgiving!
~Mogsy @ BiblioSanctum
It was only recently that I figured out that Burroughs wrote more than Tarzan. ;) Neat to see him on your list.
ReplyDeleteBig Little Lies got me reading and blogging again last year so I should be thankful for that one too! Great list! :)
ReplyDeleteSo many great books on your list! I really need to continue on with ASOIAF. :)
ReplyDeleteLauren @ Always Me
Some great looking books. I'm only really familiar with a couple of them
ReplyDeleteThough she's popular in nearly all of the blog circles I'm in/blogs I read, I've not read any of Rainbow's books. (With exception to a novella and I really liked that too.) Someday I should remedy this.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for visiting Finding Wonderland, Greg. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.
The Long Way was certainly a big winner for me! I am thankful you kept posting about it so it stayed on my radar. I am hoping to do a buddy read of the LotR books with Baz next year. He has never read them and I have never re-read them. My senior year in high school was a loooooooong time ago. Ha ha.
