Sunday Post #28/ It's Monday. What Are You Reading?
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It's Monday! What Are You Reading is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.
Last week flew by and again reading time was at a premium. I have a bunch of new reads but I'm reading several at once, plus real life keeps intruding, so it was another slow week review- wise. We've been busy kid-wise, with tryouts for this and practices for that. They're having fun though, and and we're to make sure they don't get over committed. I did get a review up for Alliance (the next Paladin Prophecy book). I can't recommend this book enough, or the first one for that matter. If you like YA stories with boarding schools and eerie threats, you should check this out.

I'm so excited about Game of Thrones!
ReplyDeleteI'm like you, I usually have a few books on the go at any one time, so it can mean there's not time to blog!
Enjoy your week, hope it's a little less busy for you.
Sarah
Thanks Sarah, I have to say GoT does look good. I'm really fond of book 3 though, and since they're still in that book I think there's some good stuff coming up. I only carry HBO at GoT time so I'll have to resubscribe a little closer to April. :)
DeleteAnd yes, picking which book to pick up has been a challenge lately! :)
SQUEEE!!! I saw the trailer!!! OMG I can't wait.
ReplyDeleteAre you going to watch that new show on Starz? Black Sails? Really looking forward to that one also.
Rob Stark is on a new show on Discovery Channel called Klondike (so excited to see him again)(I'm aware that's not his real name lol)
You got some great books! ENJOY!!!
Have a great week!
Michelle
Because reading is better than real life
Me too, I complain about the show sometimes but I have to say that trailer rocks. I haven't seen anything on Black Sails, sounds intriguing though I'll head over to Youtube and check it out.
DeleteIt should be fun as time goes on to see the GoT stars show up in other programs. You have an awesome week too!!

DeleteYES! I'm so excited for the new season of The Games of Thrones. I've got to re-watch season 3 before it's time but I've got plenty of time before it starts so that's good. Adorable Pride & Prejudice engagement photos.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
I'm looking forward to it too, I don't always like their choices on that show but season 4 does look rollicking! Should be fun.

ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week! I'm off to check out your Star Wars links. :)
Thanks Lindsey, happy reading!
DeleteThat's why I tend to only read one book at a time... One is always going to draw in you in more than the other. I also really like the sound of The Treachery of Beautiful Things - I'll be looking in to that one!
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading!
:-)
Bits & Bobs
