  1. Oo, fun to see those bright pops of purple! I think that's a very "in" color for design and fashion. :)

  8. The cover of The Blue makes me want to read it.

  9. I see Unfinished Tales on this list! I have been on the fence over it since ages... I think Tolkien couldn't finish the stories, so his son did? I wasn't sure after that whether to pick it up. And what's the name of the 4th book here? Is it from a manga/ comic?

  20. I smile at people's optimism every time I see the Winds of Winter... I'm convinced it's just never going to happen. He seems determined to write everything BUT that book and is always behind and pushing it back.

  35. Wilder Girls is interesting in that you might not notice all the detail at first.

I really like two tones - bright colored covers myself.

A lot of these newer illustrated covers are so pretty but get lost to me because they're so similar.

  36. Purple is such a great color on book covers. Although, I might be biased because it's my favorite color. Winds of Winter... will I be alive?! hmm. haha

  37. I wouldn't say these are colorful covers but they are well designed

    Have a lovely day.
