Sunday Post #10/ It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

  3

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It's a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead

It's Monday! What Are You Reading is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. It's a chance to share reading lists and compare notes. Be warned though- this meme tends to add to your reading lists.

Last week was pretty busy so I didn't get any reviews up. I finished up a Dance with Dragons last weekend and posted my review. Here's what I'm reading or will be, coming down the pike. Slated has been out for awhile but after seeing an interview with the author, I want to check it out.

  1. Linkwithin has zero customer support, when I switched from blogger to WP it stopped working and despite following directions it still failed. Glad you like nrelate, I am trying Zumenta right now, still exploring them all :)

    1. I found that out! I had no idea I would get NO response at all. Nice. I haven't heard of Zumenta, I'll keep an eye on them if nRelate goes wonky. :) Thanks for stopping Kimba!

  2. I have no idea what Linkwithin, nRelate or Zumenta are. I'm so behind the times. *sigh*

  3. I should have clarified, they're the little thumbnails under a post that say "you may also like" these related posts. I'm pretty behind the times too, blog design and fancy gidgets aren't my strong suit. :)

  5. I hope you love Fangirl. I thought it was wonderful.

Regarding the GoT blu-ray, I hate having to wait for this! I own the first two seasons, and of course, the shows themselves are wonderful, but all of the extras (especially the commentaries) make it a must buy. I've got all of season 3 stored on my DVR, and I hope I'm able to keep them all on there until Feb!

    1. Fangirl is great so far! I've already laughed several times, so I'm definetly liking it. Yes the wait for DVD's is awful, and I have to admit I haven't watched the commentaries (what? I know!)but I thought that deleted scene was pretty good!

  6. I wan to read Fangirl. I loved Eleanor and Park. Off to check out the deleted scene. I just finished watching Season 3. I waited until I finished the book. Probably will wait a couple of months to start book 4. Have a great week.

    1. You too Nise! I'm curious your thoughts on book vs show I think they do a great job w/ the show but I'm not as crazy about it as some fans are. Might be just me. Book 4 is good too but the weakest of the series I think... Fangirl so far seems to live up to the hype.

  7. ENJOY your week. Happy Reading...hope you get to read this week.

I am out of town and not getting too much reading done, but I am having fun. Went to a Hachette book event and received 9 books. The event was FABULOUS. I am still here visiting my son...heading home tomorrow.
